This bag can and will fit mallets inside, but there is not much headspace above the mallets so it is a bit of a tight squeeze. Besides that it has treated me quite well.

I purchased this for my middle schooler to keep his sticks together when he takes them back and forth to school and lessons. It fits one set of snare sticks and two sets of bell mallets just fine. It's nothing fancy and the zipper material seems a little thin, but seems sturdy enough for its purpose right now and it fits in his backpack. We have a nicer stick bag at home that's twice as wide but it didn't fit in his backpack easily, hence the reason I bought this. I also like that it includes a shoulder strap for some extra options on how to carry it. We did not need the extra sticks so those will just be extras for practice since he has nicer ones for performance.

The bag is nice. the zipper seems sturdy. the clips seem well made and it's a good size for bringing just a few pairs to a gig or open mic night. The included sticks are not as nice as the Promarks or other sticks I usually use, however, I have set them aside for emergency spares. Overall, this bag is a great value!
