The claws caused my arms near the wrist area to hurt, almost immediately. But once I put on some thick long sleeve gloves the pain never returned. I am so glad I bought these leaf scoops. Wasn't able to use them yet because the trees held on to the leaves longer than usual this year so most of them were blown off to the side and I'll get the chance to use them in spring but I've seen how they work and it really helps you do the job more efficiently and in less time than with two rakes and they feel very sturdy so I'll keep them for next year. ... show more

I just love these - they make picking up large piles of leaves quick and easy. They are comfortable in my hands but being lightweight comes with a cost. Issue: I had some fallen pears in the pile of leaves and while trying to scoop up a few of those, I broke off a corner of the scoop and cracked it in another spot.
