With the 2025 Easton MAV-1 BBCOR bat, you're cleared for takeoff with Easton's highest-performing one-piece BBCOR bat ever. Thanks to our groundbreaking Extra Long Draw alloy processing tech, the MAV-1 is able to stretch thinner barrel walls across a wider area of the barrel, creating an enormous sweet spot that performs right at the BBCOR limit across the entire hitting surface. On top of that, the one-piece constructionand MAV HP alloy allows us to create a one-peice metal bat with a balanced swing feel, so you don't have to sacrifice swing speed for barrel responsiveness or control. Power hitters will love the traditionally stiff feel; contact hitters will love the ultra smooth contact and clean barrel taper. In addition, the MAV-1 BBCOR is outfitted with Flow-Tack grip and a Power Boost Soft Knob, both desgined to give hitters a more comfortable feel with better leverage. This one-piece Easton MAV1 baseball bat is meant for serious players and hitters. With only a -3 Drop, it needs to be in the hands of a strong player that can generate appropriate bat speed with a lower Drop number such as this. My experts are the boys next door that have been raised in a baseball family and have played in school and league teams practically their whole lives. I brought this bat over to them one night while they were in their backyard batting cage with their dad feeding the pitching machine to see how they reacted to this fine tool. The older and stronger lad immediately appreciated the balance of this bat and commented that the ball flies off easily with lots of “pop”. He found the grip a little slippery for his liking, but not unusable, and easily corrected if necessary. The younger boy also commented on this bat’s “good balance” but felt that it was a little heavy for him as he isn’t as bulked yet as his older brother. A talented player in his own right, he too, commented on the bat’s hard release and excellent barrel sweet spot. After a few solid hits, he believed that the ball left harder than other bats he commonly swings. He did, however, agree that the grip wasn’t his favorite, although the bat was still very fresh and brand new. Both boys liked the way the bat seemed to waste very little energy when hit, transferring a minimum of vibration and force to the grip on contact. They said it felt “smooth.” Their dad commented that he would expect this bat to settle in with use and that it would likely get better as it did so. Lastly, the specs of this bat make it comply with all the necessary rules for their league and school team play, making it a bat that they both wanted to take to the field after getting used to it in the batting cage. ... show more

Wow...just wow. I've grown up using Easton bats. The feel, the balance, the performance--it's always consistently been there. Through 20 swings, I can tell you the Easton MAV1 knocks it out of the park (no pun intended). First, out of the package this bat is visually impressive, and has a great feel. One of my favorite features is actually the 'power boost knob'--maybe its a mental thing, but I do think I'm able to swing this bat a little smoother/faster because of it! Second--the swing. The balance on this thing is incredible. It's almost effortless to put the bat to the ball, and do it quickly. I love the sound--I can't wait until I have a few more swings on it to really get it broken in. Third -- the results. I'm not going to go so far as to say this this is 'hot out of the wrapper'...but man--it's gotta be close! The ball feels like it is flying off the bat when you catch the sweet spot, and I can only assume it's going to improve as it gets more swings. Now I just need to upgrade my slowpitch bat and my bag should be good to go for a few more Summers! ... show more

This is a really great bat with a lot of thought and detail in the design. This one piece BBCOR alloy is built with a large sweet spot. The bat feels great in the hands and the swing with this bat feels great and balanced. The bat knob has a layer of rubber, which feels great in the hand. This bat is very comfortable to hold. My son typically prefers the two piece BBCOR bats because of the feedback from hitting, but this bat has a lot of padding and I am hoping this will help him move into the -3 bats from the -5 bat he's currently using. As for the design, it's not bright and flashy, but the raised paint spots on the bat make for a really satisfying texture/feel. Overall this is a well designed bat for performance, and I'm looking forward to seeing this in action throughout the season. ... show more
