This may be the best boxed set of music I have ever bought. I found this collection by fortune while listening to some online tracks. The site was set to autoplay and the Impressions' I'm So Proud Of You came on. Looking up that Impressions track led me to this collection. When I saw the 3 star reviews, I skipped the collection and just bought the Impressions' releases in stead. I was concerned about the comments on missing tracks. But I came back and bought the collection months later. The songs on this are amazing. Wonderful orchestration with the glorious strings. Soaring melodies and harmonies. So much pleading, begging, crying and sighing. They really capture the raw emotion of love that seeks its expression. I would like to hear the original releases but I feel very happy with what I have now. Definitely would like to find more of the same. ... show more

A few songs are on multiple disks making it seem repetitive.... but overall money well spent. Music is a healthy outlet/therapy and throw in some nastalgia. Now that's a good day!

Growing up in East Los Angeles, the songs bring back many memories, fortunately for this set, they include songs that are hard to find. Even my kids, now adults, loved the music too. I also recognize some of the background settings on the covers. These also bring memories of Art Labou, Godfree, Huggy Boy and of course Wolf Man Jack, oh and we can't forget Casey Casem. Thanks for bringing me back to my "Old stomping grounds". For sure, I highly recommend this collection of hits! ... show more

I love the fact that I didn't have to buy all the CD's one at a time like when I was a teenager, I love the music.
