I was really surprised by the performance of this sharpener. Perhaps because it is very reasonably priced. But I found it to work way better than its higher priced competitors that I have used in the past. It indeed works/sharpens like a CHARM! Highly recommend!!! If there was one thing I could change about it, it would be the cap at the back. I am not sure why it is designed to even come off. It is not snug so it keeps popping off. Or perhaps it just happens to be loose on the sharpener that I received. But that doesn’t affect its functionality in any way and if I had to get a replacement, I’d still replace it with the same exact sharpener. Works great!

I bought this sharpener for my kids’ school supplies and my colored pencils, and it does the job pretty well. It sharpens quickly and leaves a nice, clean point without breaking the lead too often, which is great. The compact size makes it easy to store in a drawer or pencil case. However, the shavings container is a bit small, so it fills up fast, and the plastic feels a little fragile. For occasional use, it’s perfectly fine, but if you plan to sharpen a lot of pencils regularly, you might want something a bit more heavy-duty.

Works great! Been using it for over a year now and it’s still sharpens just like it did when I bought it and gives a smooth tip and makes it easy to use. It also holds quite a bit of the sharpening leftovers. It’s very easy to use.

It does a great job sharpening both standard and larger makeup pencils, and I love that it's compact and easy to clean. However, the top doesn’t stay on very securely, and it tends to pop off and spill shavings if you're not careful. Because of that, I’ve learned to empty it after every use to avoid a mess in my makeup bag. It’s affordable and functional, but I wish the lid clicked into place more firmly. Still a useful tool, just with a bit of a design flaw.
