I guess "taffy" implies that it is red, but I thought the color picture showed it to be more of a pink. I should have known better! It's too bright and showy for me, I prefer a more subdued color. The lipstick goes on easily and instantly bright.

I have been amazed at the staying power of the Srsly Satin Lipstick. The color is great and looks pretty. It's truly satin. Not shiny, but not matte. My lips don't feel dry wearing this lipstick, but I tend to add a dot of oil or balm on the center of my lower lip, but for a bit more shine.

I am 50 so not as "rosy" as I used to be.. I have a light-medium skin with very pinkish undertones. Ive been looking for my shade of red forever. I have no complaints about the lipstick itself. It applies nicely and has good texture. But the color on my lips is more pink than I expected, and I guess that at my age (I'm 56 now), pink in a lipstick needs to be more subtle, with a bit of shimmer as well. I have nothing to dislike Elf has great matte lipsticks. It goes on smoothly and yet dry at the same time. The tube is so fun to twist up and down. Sort of a ruby plum cherry shade.
