I've recently purchased the Dynomax 19360 system for my 2004 Suburban, 5.3 and figured I would put some miles on it before reviewing it. I installed it about two months ago and driven over 2,000 miles with the system and I'm still grinning. The installation was pretty easy if you're mechanically inclined and have a few tools. The original system had to be cut just after the muffler. I tried to save it but no go. The new system mounted to the cat converter with the original hardware. I was able to position the system so it tucks up higher and closer to the frame and body than original. Total install time start to finish about an hour and a half. The exhaust tip is round straight cut 3.5", not square like advertised, I left it off so the system looks stock and tucks nicely behind the tire and suspension. The sound is great! It's a nice deep tone, it does not crackle or rumble. It's very noticeable under acceleration, at idle it's hardly louder than stock, this is exactly what I wanted. There isn't any resonance or new vibrations inside the truck at highway cruising speed. The system was less expensive than every other cat back I was considering. I've noticed my highway fuel mileage improved by 2 mpg. Overall this is a great system, easy to install, sounds great and as long as I keep my foot out of it better mileage. I'll be purchasing another Dynomax system for my other vehicle.

I just upgraded to an '03 'Burban Z71 from a '99 Tahoe. When I initialy bought my Tahoe, I had the 44 Flows installed on it and boy,was the sound sweet. I was hoping that this would'nt be too much different and I was pleasantly surprised. The Dynomax cat-back has done me pretty good thus far. I even noticed my mpg's improve somewhat. Of course, the meticulous maintenance counts for a lot of that as well. The drone isn't bad at all either, especially on the highway. I commute 6 hrs round trip on the weekends and I must say that my ride to and fro has'nt been anything but sweet. What makes it all easier is the ability to bolt it on, so no nasty welds to deal with. I just hate that it's not stainless steel, cuz I am in upstate NY, but what I have learned to do was to keep her sprayed off during those times of inclement weather. :-)

Dynomax System arrived on time - box beat up some but no damage and complete. Dynomax is my favorite exhaust system for all my Mustangs - so I was Santa for my girlfriends 06 5.3L Avalanche this time. Used by buds 2 post lift and was up and down done in 45 minutes taking my time. Suggest 1/2 drive deep 15mm socket with wobble long extension. I used DeWalt 1/2 impact & Sawsall. Ok, sawsall is to cut stock exhaust B4 axle - 30 seconds cuts like butter. This Cat Back DynoMax is the Easiest Install Beyond Belief !!! If you remove the spare tire - could prolly maneuver the entire cat back outta there - too much hassle. Not as Throaty as my F-150 Roush but sounds much nicer than stock sounds of silence! Only complaint is the Tip clamp system - clamp is sprung steel but clamp hardware is like grade 3 course thread and Stripped bolt threads tightening. Recommended ~ Get Grade 8 Fine Thread at Ace Hardware - No Worries ...

Installed this on my 2003 yukon xl with no issues. Fits like it should. Not to loud but not quite like oem.

So far so good. Sounds good without being too much. Little bit of drone above 70mph but tolerable. Super easy install. Will say if you live in a salt state give it a couple coats of high temp paint to keep it from rusting. Saw a negative review about it rusting out so a $5 can of paint is worth it.

Great value. thw installation was easier than I thought and the sound is not bad. Was looking for an affordable exhaust that was slightly better than factory and it was what I was looking for.
