This is a nice toolbox with a metal body. I did not want something made of plastic and this is quite nice. Will hold a decent collection of household tools. I’d be confident in this box, even if it was loaded with lead weights. It just seems sturdy. The metal latch would probably be the weak point, and yet it still seems solid with a nice coating.

This toolbox was the best for creating a set of 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" socket sets. they fit well and the box is sturdy enough to hold the weight.

Box seems very sturdy and strong with the exception of the area where you can put a padlock, that area seems very thin and flimsy and isn’t secure.

I ordered this tool box to replace the very small on on my tractor. I mounted it in the original location as the stock one. It functions and fits perfectly in that location. It gives me a lot more storage compared to the stock one. It's an excellent value for the money. It's a simple design that just works. It is small padlock friendly but I just use a small carabiner style clip to secure the lid. I highly recommend this tool box for similar applications or if you just need a small tool box for any other reason.

It is the perfect size for my need. It's built very well, no sharp edges and the toolbox does not flex as a cheap model might. The handle is big and comfortable. I can lock the toolbox if I want. I plan to use it for my micro tools which I use for restoring electronics, everything I have is going in the toolbox and I will purchase an additional one of these for bicycle repair tools as well. It is difficult to find anything wrong with the toolbox and it is made of quality steel and not plastic!

This is a high quality metal tool box and is the PERFECT size for a N0. 5 Woodworking Jack plane. 1/4" rigid side foam with soft 3/4" foam top and bottom with either 3M 77 or 90 spray adhesive.

Although this is a small single compartment toolbox and I use it as such for the most commonly used tools around the house, while keeping my full set of tools in a large toolbox in the garage, this item could be used for the storage of just about anything. It is a handy size and a big improvement over the plastic box with detachable lid I had been using. Inside mine, I keep a few screwdrivers, a hammer, two sets of pliers, wrenches, allen wrenches, tweezers, carpenter's measure, and assortment of nails and screws, in other words, stuff I commonly need to minor fix-it projects in the house. It is perfect for this use. The toolbox is made of light metal and features a high quality latch. Takes up a small space in the kitchen utility closet. It appears to be made very well. I recommend this item, and plan to buy a few more.
