I love these but they squeak SOOOO much. I love everything about them but the noise they make. Size, style, comfort, everything’s great. The squeak drives me nuts. I wore them to the office for work one day and I swear that’s when everything gets super quiet and all you can hear is the boots. Think SpongeBob Squeaky boots episode. They will drive you crazy after a while in a quiet environment. I ordered the black and I really hope they don’t make the same sounds because these are adorable and go with everything. Size - I normally wear a women's 8.5 US. The product page suggested a 9 for me so that's what I got. It's a bit wide and large with regular socks but fit's well with thicker winter socks (as shown). I think if someone is a Size 9-narrow, they might want to try these before they buy. 1. COMFORT... Inner soles are NOT comfortable as expected. I weigh 185lbs so that could be a factor. I can feel the "memory" insole with my fingers but it's not comfy to wear & feels like a really hard insole. I bought insoles that help a lot. The tops can be scratchy against the leg. This might get better with wear. For now, I wear socks high enough or tuck in my pants. 2. STYLE & DESIGN... The boots are super cute on. Looking at them out of the box, I thought they look big. After putting them on, I love the look. The material really resembles actual smooth suede. ... Because of the suede-like material, the black color is more charcoal-black than jet-black. I like that. ... The laces are cute & I like the wrap-around look. I also love that there is a zipper so I don't have to tie/untie the laces. ... The short zipper is badly made & sticks. It's not meant to be unzipped, I guess but I accidentally did. I thought it would be permanently stuck halfway or break but I managed to get it closed. ...The long zipper works much better & that's important since it's the one you have to use. ... I like the way the rounded toe is made - like a work-boot design. 4. WALKING... I wore these for the first time on both water (just shallow, not even past the sole of the boot) and ice (very light ice where the water froze on the ground in spots). I'm going to find something to waterproof them and I think these will be great for winter walking. OVERALL... I think these are a tad over-priced but they are cute & the style I was looking for. Now that I have the insoles, I don't have to return them because of fit or comfort issues. Only time will tell how durable these are. I don't hike or do a lot of walking so we will see. I won't buy boots from this brand again. They are nice now but I had to spend an extra ten dollars for decent insoles. ... show more

Really like the look of these boots. They seem well made and are stylish. Didn't buy them for a working boot, just for style. I live in Wisconsin and these will do well in yucky weather while still looking stylish! I wear a 9. Reviews said to order a half size down. The 8 and 1/2 fit good. Glad I listened!! ... show more

I bought the black and turned around and came right back for the brown. Ya know when you have the perfect boot in your head but you look and look and can’t find it anywhere? I saw this boot and it was it. It’s not too big and clunky, but it’s not too small and delicate. It’s got the perfect heel height. It just hits the sweet spot and it’s comfortable. I couldn’t get over the price, I feel like it will last quite a while for me with two pair. No one pair will be worn every day. Even if they only lasted a year, I would definitely get my moneys worth out of them. I fully expect them to last much longer. Really happy with this purchase. ... show more

    • Cute but terrible zipper and useless laces!

These look exactly as the picture provided and came well packaged. They look nice and the color is spot on, but the zippers are terrible and feels like if you have to pull on them they will just come apart. They also are required to use as the laces are ONLY for decoration lol. I suppose I can try to use other laces and leave the useless ones for unwanted decorations lol, but if I do that it will probably make that impossible to return. At this point if I cant make the laces usable and leave the boots zipped then they are a waste of time and $$$. I will update to let you know if I can keep them or forced to return for normal lacing boots. I almost forgot, I got 8 wide and they are not wide boots...I am trying them on with super thin ankle socks and there is just enough room and I wear an 8 regular...lol i got the wides to use with heavy socks...size up if you plan to try these...i only wish I had saw the part regarding terrible zippers :( UPDATE: so if you drag the laces out of the convoluted wrapping and use them just as laces, you can leave them zipped up to avoid busted zippers. Now just determining if the less than wide width promised will be sufficient for myself and daughter, who will be stealing them if I dont give up and return them for a store bought pair. I guess these are just something you need to look at and try on first, because I wouldnt have got them otherwise ... show more
