So we have purchased several variations of these type mirrors for a new home construction. NOTE: All of the lighted mirrors purchased, whether the $200. or $50. models, light up as photogrpahed but ARE NOT very birhgt at all. That said, if you are thinking any of these will work for "make-up application or even trying to see your face in a "bright" light, nonw of these will work and you will need another light source to accomplish that. I would say all of the units we purchased are about 100 - 200 lumens... like a 25W bulb... so look for 400+ lumens for any sort of brightness. ... show more
