  • Well made and customer support is great
Well made and will save me money in the long run, can't say install is easy but that's no fault of the insulation, will definitely buy more as I'm upgrading my home

  • Used to Re-insulate 15ft of 9" diameter air duct in attic space. Successful
Seemed like great deal. Used to repair duct work. Came in large box, Wide roll. 3M venture tape went over it and stuck to it well. Easy to cut with fresh razor blade. I would buy this again if the seller can't maintain this competitive price. Otherwise I will have to return to buying it local. Convenient to have Amazon deliver it at this competitive price. ... show more

  • Warmer heat
Used this to wrap my duct work in my cold basement I have a electric warm air system, it made the air 10 degrees warmer out of my vents

  • Good Buy
Product came well packaged with no damage. I used it to wrap the exposed ductwork branches from main trunk. The heat discharge temp at the registers has increased by about ten degrees. It is very easy to measure and cut and tape. Wear safety glasses and dust mask if working overhead especially as there is some fiber that that gets loosened when you work with it. ... show more

  • Wonderful for Insulating the Hose on Whynter Portable Air Conditioner
Wonderful for Insulating the Hose on Whynter Portable Air Conditioner - man, what a HUGE difference! I was wondering why I was feeling heat when I had the A/C on and it was definitely blowing cold air. I went to check the unit and felt heat coming from somewhere. It was the coming through the walls of the exhaust hose. Grrrrr. This insulation wrapped around the hose and secured with metal heat tape does an incredible job of blocking the heat. ... show more

  • Perfect replacement to fit 15" metal ductwork. Perfect replacement to fit 15" metal ductwork.
I bought an investment property that had rodent damaged ductwork. Main trunk line (15" metal and feeder line 8"). HVAC company wanted to charge me over a grand and I had to wait 6 months. I purchased this item along with a 4" foil tape, 3" mesh tape and a gallon of mastic and 4-6 hours later I was able to clean the old, re-secure and reseal the metal duct then wrap with this product and finish the job off with mastic to seal the seams. In case you're wondering the size diameter pipe it will fit multiply the diameter of your pipe by pi (3.14) and you'll get the circumference (mine was 15 x 3.14=47.1, exact fit for this 48" sheet). Saved me quite a bit of money and I lost 10 pounds working in the attic for 5 hours. ... show more
