⁃ I purchased the 8 pack to take advantage of economies of scale. I sell items online and packing tape is essential to the packing of items into poly mailers or boxes and the taping of shipping labels to the mailers and boxes respectively. I’ll always need packing tape, so having a couple in hand, instead of rushing to the store when you are almost out, makes absolute and business sense. ⁃ This tape is good for regular packaging. If you need to tape very huge boxes and/or need extra sturdiness in the boxes, you should buy industrial grade/extra strong/heavy duty tape. ⁃ I had a Duck tape dispenser at home, so I just used that particular tape dispenser. This package of tape doesn’t come with a dispenser. If you don’t have a dispenser, you need to buy the Duck dispenser right here on Amazon or pick one up from a store. I used it on another unbranded tape dispenser and it worked on it. If you have one of those dispensers that accommodate this size of tape lying around at home, then it should work. ⁃ I use this tape to seal small and medium sized shipping cardboard boxes and poly mailing envelopes for online sales and also attaching the printed shipping labels on the mailing envelopes and boxes. ⁃ The tape works well. It has a good adhesion that will hold your regular sealing of small and medium size cardboard boxes and poly mailing envelopes. ⁃ I have used the tape on both new cardboard boxes and reused Amazon boxes and the tape works well for both boxes. I do however remove any remnants of clear tape from the used Amazon boxes to allow for good adhesion. ⁃ This tape has the ‘adhesive tape’ smell. The smell doesn’t bother me but it would bother someone who is extremely sensitive to such smells. Most people won’t even notice the smell anyway.

This is very good packing tape. We used to buy our tape from uline til I found this. Its cheaper and thicker. whats not to like about that. Sure they gave you a tape gun when you bought several rolls but really how many tape guns to you really need, besides with the money I am saving I can afford to buy several good tape guns. This helps add to the bottom line of the P & L every month and the owners like that!! The shipping area is in the part of our repair shop that is not heated or cooled and we have had no issues with the tape not sticking. We reuse most of the boxes that come in and have no problems with the tape. I seen a view reviews on here complaining about a smell, all I smelled was the same smell that all packing tape has. This tape is very clear, after I put the UPS label on it I always run a piece of tape across it to be sure it sticks. The UPS driver has to scan the bar code so you know it is clear if they can do that.

I ship packages often, and needed a cost effective, easy to use, QUALITY product. This tape is PERFECT! It is the perfect thickness to handle without creasing on the packages, and once it sticks it is STUCK FOR GOOD. I always worried about other poor quality brands I had used in the past, because if I made a mistake I could sometimes just peel up my mistake and start over. If I could remove it, I wondered if others could remove it or if it stayed stuck tight for a UPS trip, which, rumor has it, CAN BE ROUGH ;) I won't purchase anything else. Folks who are getting my packages say they arrive in GREAT shape, much better than in the past. If you have a need to ship and want your clients to be happy their packages stayed intact, this is your product! NOTE, I also find because this tape is such good quality a little goes a LONG WAY, a little dab will do you. Instead of wrapping around the whole package to "make sure it stays shut" I now just do the seam on the bottom of the box and the seam on the top. It holds, NO PROBLEM, so I am using much less tape. GREAT PRODUCT, I will be using this Duck brand HP260 High performance grade packing tape from now on.

We have been using this for years. The thin, low cost tape does not compare. You will end up spending more time and more tape with lesser products. Try it... you'll like it.

My only criticism at all is that it is a bit difficult to get the tape to roll off smoothly without some effort. But that is only because it adheres so well and is so thick. So accepting that there is no alternative if we want the key features of high durability and good adhesion, then this is truly the very best tape out there for the money!

it might sound funny, but i use this tape not only for shipping and wrapping presents, but i use it to clean cat hair off my clothes (i have 2 cats) it works well because its so sticky. i also use it to clean my iphone camera lenses. and also use it to clean my glass screen protector on my iphone. talk about multi purpose lol but it has all just became a habit. and i even tried using scotch tape shipping version when i ran out of this tape and it SUCKS. i can't believe the difference in quality. this is the tape for me. hands down.
