This leash is just great! I highly recommend it for many reasons: The handle is padded and very comfortable, the length between dogs is just perfect so each can wander just a bit, it’s very strong and durable (I have two pit bulls) and it’s convenient for different sized dogs (one is full grown at 53 pounds and the other is a puppy at 33 pounds) It never tangles and it is versatile because each section unclips independently. Leash was sturdy and worked great with my ~20 pound pooches. I didn't have to stop to fix leashes when they jumped over each other. A great addition to our camping trip!!! The dogs were leashed and together, but could detach them for individual walks when needed. Being able to use one or both extensions allowed for me to be flexible with the leash length while going for single walks, too. Unlike the bungee version, this one kept the dogs (~15 lbs each) from flinging eachother around when they went in opposite directions. Once our Cavalier King Charles puppies had all of their shots, my husband and I were excited to be able to take them for walks along with our 5 year old Cavalier. We had regular leashes for all three of them along with their harnesses so I thought we were all prepared! We were not. Actually it was a nightmare. The puppies kept getting tangled up amongst themselves, with my husband and I and our 5 year-old-pup. We would come back exhausted after an extremely short walk and knew something had to change. I began searching for a double leash and came across this heavy duty two way dog leash and quickly ordered it. The leash is perfect for several reasons, most obviously it keeps the two puppies from getting tangled up, but there are some other reasons I’m so happy with it too. The clasps that attach are very easy to use and easily clip to the puppies harnesses. The handle is very comfortable and gives me good control while walking them.
