Made with high quality steel center shaft, the premium grade boots have an excellent tolerance N8to resist high & low temperatures. I ordered these axles for my 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ and entered my license plate for fitment. After I received them I saw something about CV axles in older XJs not fitting and just double checked my order details and realized that the details were for 93 and up. Panicked, I asked Rufus and that said they won't fit and reentered my plate again and it said they fit. So today was the moment of truth. I have owned this Jeep XJ since it was brand new and never replaced the axles, so you can imagine how that went. I had TRQ hub bearings sent with the axles, but I couldn't get the axle nut to break, so since I was replacing both axles and hub bearings I had to remove the hub bearing bolts and beat the hell out of the bearings to get them out. After all that it was the moment of truth, I had began with the right side first, so when I slid the axle into the axle tube I thought I was straight and it stopped going in just as the boot passed through the steering knuckle and thought it ain't gonna fit, so I used all my finger strength to lift up and try to find the slide in spot, after a minute or two which felt like an hour, it slid in perfect!! The driver side went in 1,2,3. I highly recommend these axles for replacing the Ujoint style axles. I took it for an hour ride on some rough trail roads in 4 Wheel Drive and it was smooth and quiet. ... show more

Well I’ve had them on for a few weeks with no issues. I’ll update the review if I encounter any stupid issues. I did have to remove the ABS tone rings to fit but that wasn’t very difficult to manage, so I’m not gonna dock my review for it. They fit, seem durable enough, and are working properly. Been in the daily driver over a year and no issues. Couple rock crawling trips and deep mud holes still holding strong even with Running 33” Ridge grapplers. I’m careful with the skinny pedal though so it might not be the same outcome if you 4low to the floor it. Lol any way good buy for the quality. Thumbs up ... show more

I replaced my wore out axles in my 95 Cherokee with these. Much easier and a perfect fit. It's the way to go.

Works great. Reasonably easy to install. Took a couple days for me cause the weather was to cold to work in but the Jeep is much happier now that the cv boots are brand new. Axels were remanufactured and acceptable shape. Side note it might be worth grabbing wheel bearings too. I had to replace mine after the slide hammer gave a helping smack. ... show more

Fit perfect, and so much better than the stock U-Joint axle. I'm an auto technician and these are always a pain to put U-Joints in. These shafts make the job faster, and the CV joint is infinitely better than the factory setup. They fit perfectly. I am very happy with them.
