A little goes a long way in more ways than one. The 0.67 tube almost takes on the look of "cute" for how small it is. That scared me until I squeezed out some of this butter and it is super thick and less than a pea size is all you need for spot treating. It's almost a little hard to squeeze out of the bottle, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing once you realize how much you actually need. That aspect helped explain the price and size. It's very moisturizing and doesn't take long to soak in... surprisingly. What makes this worth the price is how versatile it is. You can patch treat dryness on your face, use it on your lips, or anywhere else on the body you need to restore skin and nourish it. It's pretty killer in that regard. Think of this as your little back up to any skin concerns that may arise and the size makes it great for travel or as an emergency butter to keep in the car. It leaves a moisturized almost glossy finish, so keep that in mind if treating dryness on the face. The miracle claim is strong, but this comes the closest, thus certainly deserving of the title.

At 20ml, this is a travel sized pocket friendly balm. It's easily accessible with it's squeeze tube format. It comes sealed so you do have to remove the aluminum seal by unscrewing the lime green top and pealing it off before using which was simple and easy process. Nice compared to other products that don't come sealed. The balm has a thicker than lotion consistency but warms up and gets easier to squeeze when it's exposed to warmer temperatures. The consistency is not quite as hard as cold, pure shea butter or cold, pure coconut oil and it is definitely easier to squeeze out product compared to those two. I like that the balm can is multi-use in that I can use it on my different parts of my skin. I can use it on my face, safe for the eyes, hands and whatever area that needs extra moisture. The balm is scent-free is which is wonderful for those who are scent sensitive and I love it. This balm is also not oily at all sinks and into your skin leaving a moisturized feeling that doesn't look or feel greasy. As someone who has eczema and contact dermatitis, it's nice to have a balm that is moisturizing and calming for irritated areas that are red or dry and scaling that need extra love. A little goes a long way, so I would suggest you use less than a small pea size as the product melts more when it hits your skin. I find that I don't need to use as much product which is an added bonus. This balm is silicone free, has antioxidants from meadowfoam, green team seed and rose hip oil. It also has marula, cupucau and shea butter as moisturizers. With ingredients like these, I can see why it would cost for a small 20ml product. I think it would be a nice birthday gift or christmas stocking stuffy for folks who like a semi-luxury item. That said, I would prefer if the first three ingredients were not fillers such as coconut oil and hydrogenated vegetable. Overall, I'd recommend this product for scent sensitive people with truly sensitive skin.

This skin butter is very thick in texture. It is hard to squeeze out of the tube it is so thick. It is very greasy on the skin and does not soak in quickly. I do appreciate that it is free of harsh chemicals and fragrances though and it is very gentle on the skin. The bottle is very small and it is definitely not the best value though. I will not buy this again.

I suffer from very dry skin that gets worse when I use tretinoin. I have used other serums and creams and my skin drinks it up and within a few hours it is dry again. Not this though, I put in on the off nights from using tret and my face feels so good all night and in the morning it is so much softer. and hydrated. I used to experience peeling a few days after using tret but with this no peeling. It is is pretty oily. It makes my face shiny. I would say it is not good for those with oily skin or under makeup. It can be used on lips, hands, face, and body. It does not have any scent so no fragrance added. Overall, I really do love using this but is it a good value? I am not sure. It is very similar to aquaphor but it has a ton of natural ingredients and plant butters - no silicones. I would say it is a bit expensive but you don't need to use much so it's not a bad deal. I will probably wait for a sale and then I will buy again.

I've been wanting to try something from Drunk Elephant and this seemed like a good place to start since it's a multi-purpose product that I can use on dry or irritated skin, chapped lips and probably other places, too. The texture is quite thick and hard to squeeze from the bottle (I applied far too much in the picture attached). It has an almost petroleum jelly type texture, but not as greasy. I does leave a greasy residue if too much is used, but it's not bad. It's a salve, after all. The tube is itty bitty, which I should have known from the size listed, but I was envisioning something larger (though the price would be quite low for what this is if it were bigger; as it is, it's a good value when you realize how little you use). Once it sunk in, it left my skin feeling quite hydrated and really locked in moisture. I can see this being great for chapped lips and noses and on rough patches of skin. I feel like this worked really well! I didn't notice any scent from it, which is always a welcome feature for me when it comes to skincare. Recommended.
