I would just recommend trying it in an open area first. Once you get the hang of it, flying it indoors is pretty easy as well. Because it's so small and compact, the wind blows it around a little bit on slow mode, but if you up the speed it handles just fine outside in mild wind. The trim functions work great allowing you to have a perfectly still hover. I love the three batteries that come with it because we always have a spare battery ready to go. So I picked up this drone to see what I could get with it. This thing is SO FUN. It has one button takeoff and landing, so it takes a lot of the pressure off, and it's just really great to learn on. Every single time I get this out it surprises and delights. This thing is great to use and fly around and I haven't used the app that much but anything that gets the kiddos to swarm around like they have is worth it in my book!

    • Simple user friendly drone.
I've had other drones but this was the first one with pressure sensing and right out of the box. It's flown better than anyone that I've had. Does flips rolls stays in one spot? Camera works good. I'd buy another.
