The compartments are great for organizing the clutter that accumulates in the camper shell of my truck. There are clips to hold it in place so it doesn't slip around. It's sturdy, but not indestructible. My dog liked it as a chew toy and tore one side open and I immediately ordered a second one which is not accessible to her :) It's collapsible and easy to store when not in use.

This trunk organizer was the best one that I could find. The reason I bought it was specifically because of the straps that would secure it in the back of my SUV. I've only had it for a short time and only just, last weekend, secured it and really started to move stuff into it. Here are my positives so far: 1. The straps work exactly as I'd hoped. They secure the organizer to my vehicle just as expected. I have a plastic liner in the back of my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and the straps keep the organizer from sliding around in the back of the vehicle. 2. The organizer itself seems very well made. The sides are more sturdy than I expected. The removable "divider" is a kind of flimsy, but it definitely works to separate one of the larger areas into two separate areas. I used it the divider once, then decided I didn't need to have it set up permanently, so, right now, it's just laying in the back of the organizer. I've carried 2 gallon jugs of milk (along with other grocery items) and nothing moved at all. 3. It's got lots of pockets! Two of them in the front have flaps to secure them while the others, which are mesh, are open at the top. I've only used one of the flap pockets, but I'm glad they are there. So far, I only have two suggestions: 1. The "removable divider" only works in one of the larger compartments which is the same side as the two front closeable pockets. I have the unit secured to the right rear of my SUV with the front pockets facing the rear (for easy access). I wish that I was able to put the divider in the section further from the front pockets... I wanted the bigger section next to the front pockets and the other section to be the one that was able to be made into smaller sections. 2. I have several places to secure the straps into the rear of my vehicle. I wish that besides the two existing places to connect the straps on the organizer there were additional places at each corner to secure the straps (instead of one in the middle of the front and one in the middle of the back of the organizer). In my vehicle this would be an easier way to connect and would just, generally, give people more options on where and how to connect to their vehicle. 3. I wish this product would have come in more colors. The gray is nice, but I would have preferred a brighter color. Other than those few (minor) observations, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I haven't had the need to use it in the front seat of my car, but It's cool that it can be modified to collapse a bit and still be usable. I'm very opinionated about the products I spend my money on and this organizer was worth every cent.

This is an excellent product and is well thought out. I bought it to use on a 1,600 mile vacation with my kids. I have a small Toyota truck and three kids. Since I couldn't put everything we might need while on the road inside the cab, I needed a way to organize the "stuff" we might need in a way that made it easily accessible. This was just the ticket. With the tie down straps I was able to hook it to the back tie down hooks in the Rd of the truck which kept it from shifting around and kept it at the back of the bed which made the "stuff" easily accessible. A sarindipity was that I could just unhook the organizer and take the whole thing into the hotel with me. I didn't have to collect everything and try to think about what we might need in the hotel room. I hadn't even considered that aspect until I needed to bring things in. It is well made and well thought out with plenty of pockets on the outside to tuck small stuff in. Folding it up and changing the configuration (making it half the size) is as easy as they say. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the "removable" divider uses two snaps to keep it in place and, if you are putting a lot of stuff in that compartment or moving the stuff around a lot like I was, the snaps come undone fairly easily. My suggestion would be to use a Velcro strip instead of snaps. However, don't let the snaps keep you from purchasing this organizer. It is excellent organizer and what you get for the money is amazing. I highly recommend this.

We own 6 of these now. The oldest have been in near daily service for about 18 months. Due to the nature of our small business, these are used frequently in multiple vehicles. The dimensions are well designed when expanded or collapsed. When collapsed, they stow easily in the foot well behind either driver or passenger in our mid-size vehicles. When expanded, they fit perfectly on the rear seats. We can fit them parallel to the length of the vehicle or perpendicular. When they are perpendicular, a bit will overhang the seat bottom. But even with an overflowing tote, they ride and wear great. In our Toyota Highlander, I can fit 4 in the back with the third row seating folded down. A typical day might find me buying dozens or hundreds of business and ordinal items at several stops. I fill the totes, and everything from liquids, gels, soft food items, etc rides securely without hard items jostling into fragile items because of the compartments working with shopping bags. Later it's time to ship packages through UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. It's convenient and impressive to stack these totes full of various sized parcels. Carry them with the handles, or stack them on a cart. Then unload and collapse the tote for the next day. When the bag is collapsed they stack perfectly in our home in the cubbies of the drop zone right by the garage to be ready for the next day. The oldest are around 18 months at the time I write this. Other than some scuff marks, they are wearing very well. I haven't had any tears, pulled stitches, etc. They're also convenient to take into stores. Expand one into the bottom of a shopping cart and fill it as you shop. If you like playing tetras with your items it's possible to stack two totes full of items in a cart with most ordinary items. No bags. No waste.

Have you ever been driving and hear in the back the stuff sliding all over at every turn or stop? The frustration of wondering what has spilled or broken open because your organizer fell over is no longer an issue with the Drive Auto organizer. Everything stays in place. No sliding, no spilling, no broken items. This organizer is just what I needed to keep my items organized. The product is sturdy and does not collapse when there is nothing inside it. The straps that comes with this organizer are adjustable which allows me to place it in different spots in the back of my Subaru. Best of all, everything stays in place. No more coming home from the pet store and finding that the kitty litter's lid opened up through all the sliding and the kitty litter is everywhere. No more finding an organizer that has tipped over and laundry soap as leaked out everywhere. The Drive Auto Trunk Organizer is perfect. Holds a lot of stuff. Pockets to hold tiny items. Straps that keep it in place. As a side note, the company (not Amazon, but the Drive Auto company) has the best customer service. I contacted them in regards to when they would be selling a one pack instead of a two pack on Amazon and I got a reply right away. The representative from Drive Auto not only responding quickly, but let me know when a one pack would be available on Amazon and went the extra mile by making note on his calendar to email me when it was available from Amazon. Two weeks later, I got that email that said it was on Amazon. Wow, millions of people in the world and the representative made me feel like I was his only customer and made me a priority. Great product, great company, great customer service.

I have been trying for years to figure out extra storage space in my car. There are always more things in my car than places to put them. One or two cup holders, but 3 cups, ha! I ‘d seen trunk organizers for sale but was always a bit skeptical if they made sense because 1) Either too big from my front and back seats 2) Too small for my trunk 3) Stuff inside will just tip over anyways, right? I don’t know maybe I was a skeptic but this thing is really really useful. I have never before found one with harnesses like this. The ultimate for me is when driving solo for work it breaks down to the exact size to fill my front passenger seat. And then I harness it around the seat back. I love that part and can vouch for the design that it works. Here are my comments on the overall make up. -solid structure, there are plates or thin boards in each panel -has heft to it -buckles and handles are the right size -the phenomenal and favorite part is the harness mode straps -the large grey double pockets fit my big items like large coffee mug -fabric had a new material smell – dissipated -I would prefer the smaller black mesh pockets to be more open, but they do fit glasses and keys, but not my folders. See my video for how I'm using it and illustrate what I’m talking about, but so far I am incredibly pleased! I like the capability to go full size in my trunk for groceries/hauling kids stuff to practice, and to also collapse and fit my front seat. Overall, very well executed product.
