The mannequin is stable and lightweight pinning on an angle holds fabric tight, it has a base with 4 wheels, and each one can be locked keeping it in place as you work. Materials are quality, the adjustment knobs turn easily & you can get exact body measurements for your garments. It was more than competitively priced, as other retailers wanted from $40 to $100 or more; some even wanted upwards of $150 or more for the same or even less features. Love it!

I like this dress form a lot. I work for our high school theater as their costume mentor and needed something to use for costuming. I have worked with the Dritz model and I have to say, aside from the dials, this one is almost exactly the same. This one has the advantage of wheels/ casters who makes it so easy to move around and the casters have breaks so they will move when you want them to. I’ve had it for a month now and have sized it up and down numerous times and it’s functioned well. Not sure how long it will last but for now she’s my new best friend! Oh! And I am so glad I got the turmeric color. It’s just tan color which I like because it’s the closest to skin color. ... show more

On the cheaper side but usable…

I ordered this knowing I was probably getting what I paid for since it was on the cheaper side for adjustable dress forms. I mainly needed it for adjusting hem length and it’ll do the job with some customization. It’s a bit on the flimsy size but still workable. The dial measurements are way off but I’ll just add some batting and a slipcover to make it what I need. Decent for the price. We’ll see how well it holds up to regular use. ... show more

Decent, but flawed

It's a nice setup, but... The stand is trash. The instructions are poor, and the size adjustments on the torso don't open and close smoothly. The seams are uneven and at larger opened size, the neck doesn't open in an even ratio to the body adjustments. Works for my purposes, but I have to spend more on a much better stand that doesn't have plastic pressure twist adjustors that break when you try to snug them tight to keep the bar from sliding down as you work. Plus, I have to allow for extra room in the neck for larger builds. ... show more

Just as the image, very sturdy, it’s a great quality product, condition is perfect, very stable. It is better than I expected. Expands more inches than I thought and neck opens up too. Great dress form for the price tbh it just looks so cool in the lab, it’s fashionably aesthetic as well as strong.

cheap plastic bs HAD SPIDERWEBS IN IT

it's unstable and poorly made, and was full of spiderwebs. obviously the product i received had been sitting in a warehouse for years because they coudln't offload it on someone who had the time to return it. the box was taped like it had been opened before so maybe it had been returned before. either way, i'm not a clumsy or incautious person but the plastic nearly broke as i put it together, the form warpes if you gently press it, the dials have measurements written on them that do not even remotely correspond to what a measuring tape says, and the torso does not extend to 17 inches; it's a super short torso that i could extend by actively bending the cheap plastic, but even trying to DIY modify it to the proper height leaves it too short. then, on top of all of that, the part that clamps onto the stand does no actual clamping, so it sinks on the stand constantly as i'm trying to adjust other measurements. i don't know what quality other products people who have ordered this have received, but whoever decided to send me this pile of garbage in a retaped box was banking on the fact that it's clunky and difficult to repackage and that i don't have the energy or time to completely repackage the thing to send it in as a return. absolutely horrible experience, waste of the amount i paid, i regret buying this junk and now can't afford to buy an actual dressform. so much for accomplishing my lifegoal of owning one. maybe next tax season. ... show more

Not bad for the price
