Funny Story: Visiting my grandson one afternoon, he was keen on me watching him jump around on his "tambourine." His tambourine was of course a trampoline and as many times I tried to correct him, as many times he re-corrected me.. "no gramps, it a tambourine!" Singing him the song "hey Mr Tambourine man" resulted in scowls and cries of "noooo shut up!" Later, I was chuckling to myself while remember the young lad jumping up and down and then bawling with frustration at his wicked, spoil sport grandpa. I decided to buy the boy his own actual "tambourine" not just to prove to him that his gramps knows everything and is always right, but also to help him understand that he really is calling his trampoline and tambourine and that error had to be corrected immediately. Two days later I'm told by his mother, my grandson was now shaking and clanging non stop around the house with his new, yes! His new tambourine that arrived in the mail from Amazon. Honestly, I never raised the issue of the trampoline and tambourine when seeing him the following week, but the lad did make sure to show me how great his "tambourine" was.
