This is a nice selection of attachments used with a Dremel Rotary Tool. It gives a good selection of the variety of things you may want, with backups for the abrasives and cutting wheels as they wear during use. I highly recommend purchasing this with a Dremel if you are a first time user.

Battery life exceeded expectations, other than that, it's a dremmel, can barely tell difference between it and the corded one, other than cord being in the way.

I don't know if it's me or the tool, but there's something not right. The on/off switch is iffy, the release button is iffy and the battery is almost impossible for a normal hand to get out of this Dremel tool. I notice vibrations that make small or precision work impossible. Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe I got a defective tool. I thought Dremel was supposed to be a quality rotary. tool. I have used it 4 times. I figured my problem was operator inexperience with this particular tool but the sudden shut off with green flashing battery lights persisted. It was not overheated. It has not been pushed beyond limitations, I let the tool do the work. In this case, only if it wants to. Today's experience was the best of the 4. It did not shut off intermittently and the mandrels didn't loosen by themselves. The battery does not last very long so you find yourself in the middle of a project, struggling to remove the battery to recharge which takes longer than the hour stated. I turn back to the corded, non Dremel brand tool that has been fine for over 3 years and a lot of use. I should probably send the Dremel 8220 back as my window is still open. Problem is this was a kit with lots of branded Dremel accessories and finding them all will be impossible. Maybe reaching out to Amazon or Dremel will allow me to trade this for a corded model. I know I'm getting a flex shaft as a gift and it won't fit on my non Dremel tool that included the flex shaft. The shaft is not interchangeable; I tried. I have not thrown the Dremel 8220 tool across the yet room. Maybe that will improve it. Kind of like giving an old TV or radio a smack to get it working properly. I should have read all the real reviews and not bought it, but like I said, I really wanted to love this not plugged into the wall tool. ... show more

I've been using this for a while now, and the battery life is great. It is by fat the best mini rotary tool I've had. Its not cheaply made like some of the off brands. It comes with a pretty good assortment of attachments. I also picked up the chain saw sharpening kit for it and it has already paid for itself since I can sharpen a chain instead of taking it someplace or buying a new ones. With this, I can sharpen a chain in minutes There are so many other uses, its impossible to list them all. Well worth the money. ... show more

I used this for just about everything. When my husband saw this he looked at me like what would you ever need that thing for and like I wasted our money. I think he uses it more than I do.
