I bought this to replace what I considered to be my midweight robe which had become worn out. It is a good weight, breathable and comfortable. I like the length. As a person who is shorter than average I have problems getting full-length items, such as robes, that aren't too long. This one is mid-calf, so it's a good length.

Between my daughter and myself, we have 5 of these robes in various lengths. Neither of us use the zipper. They are so roomy that we just flip them off and on over our heads. The construction is very good - no raw, ugly seams. The fabric is soft and wears and washes very easily. They are very light weight but keep us very warm and cuddly. Neither of us have one with the hood but I am sure it would be very warm in the winter. I wish the sleeves were about 3" longer for my "old age" arms that get cold at times. The robes that are the oldest still look fresh and fairly new. They have not faded at all. They have not "pilled" of shredded. Overall, I shower, get dressed, and cuddle up in my chair, and enjoy the world!
