I have a number of foot problems, from an abnormal foot structure to toes that were broken but didn’t heal properly. Over the years I have spent a fortune on orthopedic shoes, edema shoes, diabetic shoes, and shoes of any description that promised relief of foot pain. Over the last year the pain in my feet has gotten to the point where the only foot wear I have been able to tolerate has been slippers with memory foam. It’s been a humbling experience to have to wear slippers everywhere, to the grocery store, to restaurants, to everywhere. Recently I went on a rampage ordering and then returning shoes to Amazon. I vowed not to give up until I found something I could wear. And find something I did. These sandals gave me everything I needed. The bottom of the shoe on the inside is textured to keep my feet from slipping. The sole is relatively flat with just a slight incline and the bottom of the sole is textured to give secure footing on slippery surfaces. Most important to me is that the entire sandal opens up so it can be fitted to my foot. The sandal straps for heel, ankle and toe area all secure with hook and loop tape that is VERY strong. So strong that someone with arthritis in their hands might initially need assistance is adjusting the straps. Once a person adjusts the straps to their toe and heel area, they will likely never need to be changed. Only the ankle strap needs to be opened and closed each time the sandals are worn. It has been a great benefit to me to be able to adjust the left sandal for my left foot and the right sandal to my right foot, as there is a considerable difference in my two feet. These are durable, comfortable and true to size. I also own Teva sandals and these are equally comfortable and durable. I end up wearing these more than my Teva universal sandals. True to size and completely adjustable.

Excellent quality! Honestly impressed. Bought & wore these 6 months pregnant, hiking in muddy/ slippery jungle terrain & crossing rivers in Tahiti/moorea. Comfortable & reliable grip, even with my loaded balance with a big belly. The mud came off and I’d say only the straps maybe need a bit more scrubbing to get the dirt all out. They might take longer to dry if you soak your foot in a river obviously lol. ... show more

I purchased these after reading reviews. I was looking for a shoe that was comfortable and safe for heavy walking as I wanted them for a trip to Europe and needed something for both land and water. These are super comfortable with plenty of cushioning and grip. They are not extremely chunky, so they still looked nice with a sundress. I walked up plenty of hills and stairs with these on and they did not rub uncomfortably on anything. I took off one star because the straps sometimes came a bit loose and I would have to readjust them so that my feet wouldn't move around in the sandals. I would still definitely purchase more footwear from this brand though as they are affordable and super comfortable with a lot of style options. ... show more

I was worried about purchasing these as I have a lot of pain in my feet. I was so pleasantly surprised. I can walk miles in these with no discomfort and they provide plenty of support. The hook and loop closures at the ankle and over the toes personalize the fit to my different size feet. They seem very durable and are dressy enough for dresses, but casual enough for shorts - very versatile. I suffer from a extreme foot problems and am in constant search of shoes that I can wear without being in total pain. I put these on as soon as I got them and wore them the rest of the day. What a joy! With the adjustments I am able to change them to protect my feet where necessary. I guess I should also mention that they are pretty cute! I find them to be flattering to my feet, something I certainly didn't expect. I have ordered them in 2 other colors. Even if you don't suffer from bad feet, order them! You will be thrilled!     • Perfect for what I need but they have quality issues
This style of sandal is exactly what I need for traveling as well as for casual wear on the daily. I love the adjustability of the straps - around the front of the foot as well as the ankle and even the back of the ankle. The sole is cushioned and comfortable and the bottom feels grippy enough for tile floor as well as for hiking. The sole also is thick and sturdy so it should last. However, I noticed that the inside of the straps (at the seam connecting to the bottom) can sometimes have excess glue or plastic on them and it can cause chafing and irritation when walking for long periods. I noticed immediately just from trying on the sandals and walking in my house. The left sandal's front strap had excess glue that was rubbing against my bunion, and the right sandal was just fine. I had to order another pair in hopes that I'd get a good pair, but instead, there was a tiny pointy bit of plastic sticking out on the right sandal's back strap digging into the side of my feet. If you don't mind this hassle and dance, then I'd say try these sandals out! I also have wide feet but I got my normal size 7 and it fits comfortably and I feel like I will still have space and can adjust the straps if my feet flatten a bit from hiking ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a replacement of my 5 year old Teva waterproof walking sandals that I love as something to wear to Disney/Universal. I tried several different brands including tevas and these were the winner. They were comfortable straight out of the box. Versatile for a trip like this tone casual but also cute enough with dinner outfits. The quality is great. I’m a very narrow 8 (I used to be a 7 7/12 before kids).
