The price was great- a winter boot NO! The lining is not thick and furry- do not expect that! If you have high arches you will need to put in soles in as it has no support for your arches. I love the side zipper! The true test for water proof will be in a couple of months when I'm in Alaska hiking. So far the couple of mild melting snows we've had in WI they have kept my feet dry. I usually have to have purchase a wide shoe so I ordered this in 8 instead of size 7.5. They fit awesome. They feel like they are a wide shoe. There is plenty of room in the toe box. I'd give these boots five stars if the fleece lining was a bit thicker. Still, for only $15.99 these are an awesome value. The size runs fairly true with enough room for a rag wool type sock over a regular winter sock. I live Minnesota, and walking in 20 degree weather with the above-mention sock combination is just right. However, below 10 degrees I don't think my feet would be warm enough. I wear a size 9 and with a small size Yaktrax (including Trail Buddy trekking poles), these were very secure and comfortable walking across soft ice and snow covered trails. ... show more

I haven’t really tested this out in cold weather but I would definitely recommend it. Wear wool socks along with it instead of a regular one. It’s comfy and soft inside while it’s also very protective.

I love these boots. I got the m today. I was very skeptical cuz it's foot wear. I or dered size 11 and received size 11 and they fit like a glove. Very true to size. I'm ordering another pair in black. They were on sale for a mere 16.11 because I was wary. Again because it's foot wear. Just figured if they don't fit or I hate them I spent next nothing.
