I’ve been looking for a pair of winter boots to replace the ones I’ve had for years. My old ones are good, warm boots, but they’re so big and clunky that I feel like I’m wearing clown shoes when I have them on, are they don’t quite come up high enough to stay dry in deeper snow. I needed boots that are tall enough for deep snow, keep my feet at least somewhat warm even if I don’t have extra thick socks on, and that don’t feel big and heavy. Buying something like shoes online always makes me a bit nervous, but my options in town where I live were pretty limited. When I came across these I loved the look of them, and with the lining they looked liked they might be pretty comfortable. After reading other reviews I decided to just take the plunge and buy them, and I’m so glad that I did. The area I live in usually gets at least a couple of big snowfalls each winter, so tall boots are pretty much a necessity for keeping your feet dry. These boots hit just below my knee, and with the zipper they’re super easy to take on and off. I have muscular calves and sometimes have issues getting taller boots to fit comfortably, but these are great. I even threw them on to make a brief trip outside while I was wearing extra thick slipper socks, and to my surprise I was still able to get them zipped up. They were really snug, but not uncomfortably so. At least not for the amount of time it took for me to trek from my apartment to the dumpster and back again. The best part is that these boots don’t feel cumbersome. I can walk normally in them without feeling like I have and extra ten pounds strapped onto both feet. These are good looking, warmly lined, and fit pretty well for the price. The zipper made them easy to put on, and there was plenty of room for my bunions and overlapping toes. Due to little snow this year, I never got to wear them, but I'm all set for next year!
