I ordered these boots mainly because of a nasty leg injury. I have an event coming up that I will need to wear a dress to and I need to hide my bruised and bandaged leg. My one leg is quite swollen still from mid calf to ankle and foot so I was unsure if I would even be able to get these boots on the affected leg. Boots came today and I was thrilled to get the boots on my injured leg. The partial zipper made getting them on absolutely painless. I wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered size 11 boots. Normally size 11 is too long for me but these fit well so I'm thinking they run just a pinch small. My feet are a bit wide at the toe and at first I thought I wouldn't be able to get my foot in but the boot fit perfectly! The footbed is flat with no arch support so of you have arch issues I would suggest adding some arch inserts. Despite looking narrow, there seems to be just enough room for my toes with medium weight socks on. Now, about the color: I ordered the Taupe-wide calf. The description on the box matches what I ordered however the color is darker than pictured on the listing. The color of the boots I received looks more to be "Taupe" (without the wide calf). Not really a deal breaker for me even of I did want the lighter color. Ah yes, there are the pockets in each boot also. Who would have ever thought to pit pockets inside boots? The pockets and boots over all seem nicely stitched. But honestly, I don't know if carrying a credit card or ID in the boot pockets is a great idea. I would worry that a card would eventually scootch up and out of the pocket and either end up under your foot or lost somewhere on the sidewalk... Again not a deal breaker for me because I'm not in the habit of carrying cards around in my boots anyway. So, these are nice fashion boots and would recommend them if you're looking for something to wear with a long skirt or jeans.

Pretty boot. But they do not stay up, rather they bunch at the ankle. Forget about putting something in the pocket on the inside. It weighs the fabrics down too much Have not decided if I’m going to return them yet or not.

I bought a black wide calf pair from another maker - not this maker - that were fabulous and stretchy, but they didn’t have any other colors. So I kept looking and found this. I like the color and the foot size is spot on. 9.5. But the calf, although wider than usual boots, is only slightly so. I just barely fit. I’m 5’6” 230lbs but carry my weight pretty well. I guess it’s distributed well. Mostly in my tummy. I usually wear 14/16 pants, xl or xxl tops. Calves are fat to be sure but not that fat. These boots could’ve added another 1/4- 1/2” to top circumference and been much better. Bear in mind I am wearing them over thin jeggings. Since I need another color and they do just fit, I’ll keep them. They might stretch a bit, although I think it is fake leather.

I bought these boots in 3 different colors. They do take time to stretch and hurt your feet for a while. If you have wide feet these will hurt a tad more while breaking them in. I am Plus size (2x-3x) and they fit good on my calf which is great!

I read the reviews and was skeptical but hopeful because some said they fit wide calves, some said they didn't fit wide calves, and some were unaware that they were purchasing wide calf boots even though it's in the product name. I'm 5'3" with wider calves. My calves are 18" and it's so difficult to find cute tall boots that fit them. These boots have a half zipper so that your foot can slide in easily and then you pull them up. They pulled up easily and there is room for tucking in jeans or pants too! I can't believe it. They are a slouchy 80's style and I feel like a teen again, lol. The toe box is adequate and I can probably wear a medium weight sock with them. There is some cushiness to the footbed. If you have regular or low arches they will probably fit you well. I have high arches and will put a different arch support in them. I ordered the wide/calf/black style. Be careful because there are 3 different styles to choose from and maybe that's where all if the confusion is with the fit. This style is definitely wide calf and at 5'3" they come to my knee. I don't think it's really wide foot though. It feels regular width to me. This style is also faux suede. I see there is a style that is faux leather too. Anyhow, these fit me and I'm very happy with them.

The foot part (ordered my usual 9.5) fit perfectly fine with enough room to wear socks or stockings. The leg was not wide enough to come up my leg all the way. It came part way up my shin and wouldn't go further so it was slouched by the zipper and made it harder to zip/unzip. Also the board inside the left boot that helps it keep it's shape was a little too stiff and pretty uncomfortable.

They're beautiful boots. The actual "shoe" fit is perfect. BUT, I DIDN'T REALIZE IN THE MAIN DESCRIPTION OF THE BOOT, THAT IT SAID "WIDE CALF" ON IT, UNTIL AFTER I ORDERED IT. ***** I'VE ORDERED SEVERAL DIFFERENT PAIRS OF BOOTS FROM THIS COMPANY... AFTER MY FIRST PAIR CAME. They fit me perfectly and were gorgeous, as far as boots are supposed to fit. The calf area was just WAY TOO BIG... or, I would've happily kept them. Since ordering these, I've ordered a couple more pairs-- before they run out of my size & style that I want. I realized this after I waited 3 days too long to make an order. I saved it to my list & when I finally went back for it... my size sold out. They went REALLY QUICK!! Amazon always lets us know when there's only a few left... but, there were still plenty left when I hesitated and added it to my list, so I could think about buying them... or not. Problem was... 3 days was too long. It's that time of year and it's now time to wear out boots. This company is extremely popular. So, their boots sell fast. I didn't know this going in to buy them... but, with the COVID issue... I don't go out and go shopping much. Truthfully, it's SOOO much easier to shop online... especially thru Amazon. So... there's a HUGE "learning curve" that we're all having to accept and get thru... and, Amazon's just made it much easier for me and my family. Because you HAVE to read EVERYTHING... you might miss something... and, I did, this time. Sometimes a company will leave out certain info... but, this was totally my mistake. ***** I'VE BEEN WEARING THE BOOTS I BOUGHT FROM THIS COMPANY... AND, I LOVE THEM! MY KIDS LOVE THEM. I do love these boots, I have 17” calves and can never wear knee boots, but these feel great, fit great, I can wear my jeans and these still fit! I’m a size 9 shoe, bought a size 9 and they fit perfectly - a little snug in the toes but they are brand new and will stretch a bit after I wear them a while. I hope :). The only thing I don’t like is how thin the sole is, there is zero arch support (I’ll slip in some prosthetic arch supports no biggie), and the sole is plastic and slippery so you have to be careful until you can scuff them up enough to not slip n slide as you walk. But otherwise very very pleased!

It is rare that I’m able to actually purchase a pair of boots online because my calfs are big because I’m a bigger lady. I was skeptical when I bought them but I have never had a pair of boots fit me so perfectly from the toe to the calf. I did order them a half a size bigger because Amazon suggested it so I went with it and I can’t explain how perfect it felt.
