I wear an 8.5 and got an 8.5 Wore them for work right out the box, and so long as I'm not standing for hours, they're a comfortable and excellent choice for professional shoes. With point toe heels, I always worry about the toes being too long and giving me clown feet, and these do not, the toe point is shallow. The color is accurate and nice. Feels stable, flexible, and good traction on the toe. My ONLY gripe on these, is the attachment point on the back of the heel. It does rub a bit harshly on my tendon, but im sure it'll sort itself out after additional wear. ... show more

I have worn a LOT of high-heeled shoes in my life -- so much so that my friends joke with me about it. When we get together, they are wearing tennis shoes or flip flops, while I'm in my heels... whether it be a dressy, or jean/casual sort of gathering. For this reason, I was surprised to feel so unstable in these shoes. I can't say they are noticeably comfortable, but they're not super uncomfortable either. That said, I cannot recommend anyone wear them to a full day of work, nor for dancing -- basically anything that involves a lot of standing/walking. I will be wearing them on rare occasions... as in when I don't have to walk on slick flooring (like grocery stores, or restaurants). I plan to stick to wearing them when I know I'll be going to a place that is carpeted -- and when I won't have to walk quickly (like at the airport). Otherwise, I'm afraid I will slip or twist my ankle -- in spite of the thin, rubber-like material on the outer bottom. I would highly recommend these shoes only be worn while completely sober as well, haha. EVERY single man I've ever dated has told me their favorite color is blue, and my current boyfriend is no exception. Considering we've been together more than 10 years, 'the honeymoon period' has long passed, and I need ways to spice things up. I'm quite confident these shoes will help me do just that. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, so went with a 9, and it turned out they are a bit loose ABOVE my toes. That said, I plan on buying some gel pads to make them more comfortable, so the extra space above my toes turned out to be a good thing in my case. As you can see in one of my pictures, the shoes came with a couple of matching (blue) ribbons. Based upon the ad pictures, I understand they are meant to wrap around my ankles, but I can't figure out how to make them look nice. Even after several attempts, it looked like I had wrapped them with my eyes closed -- or that a child did it. I also question whether or not I will be able to get the ribbons to stay in place. But if you are more talented than I am, I'm sure they would take the sexiness of these gorgeous shoes to a whole new level! The last tip I would like to add is that if you must drive a car, take your right shoe off (or both for a manual transmission), in order to avoid damage to the back of the shoe(s). The fabric is soft, like suede, so they will surely damage easily if there is pressure put on the back of the shoe(s), when there is even slight movement of your foot/feet, during braking, etc. Instead of removing them while driving, placing a clean soft towel underneath the back of the shoe(s) would probably prevent damage. Just be careful NOT to place the towel underneath your gas pedal, for your own safety. :) I sincerely hope this information helps you make an informed decision. ... show more

1st impression will update after this weekend after putting them to the test: On first impressions these heels are perfect and they just keep surprising me. I initially was looking for an affordable cute heel that fit my size 11 feet. It’s a lot harder than you think. I decided on these pair and not only are the comfortable to walk in (at least while breaking them in) but they are also ADAPTABLE! They come with their regular ankle strap which to my surprise was removable (making it possible to were them strapless; no slipping heel so far). But just when I was perfectly satisfied with my purchase I saw a little bag of long black ribbon in the box! YOU CAN MAKE RIBBON HEELS! The ribbon adds an extra option to how you want to wear these heels whether you’re looking for a more casual look with these buckle strap, a more simple elegant look with no strap or ribbon. OR you can go for a more fun party vibe with different styles with the ribbon! Updated Review: So after having these heels for about a month and a half, I wanted to give an updated review. I could walk in these heels all day with little more than the initial discomfort that walking on your tippy toes gives. I have never owned a pair of heels that I could stand more than a few hours. With these I actually enjoy walking in them because they are so comfortable. Perfect for going to work and on a cute little date with my guy. Wearing them without the straps unfortunately has turned into a no-go as they will turn into flip flops very quickly but hey, what can you do? It still deserves the 5 stars! ... show more
