I wore these for an entire day before writing this review and I really like them! I did order a size up because I have very wide feet, and I am glad I did! The extra “length” of the footbed does not bother my feet at all, but I can tell that the extra size to provide adequate width is indeed necessary. If you have wide feet, size up! I will be wearing these with thick socks so the extra length of the size up is not posing an issue for me, even after prolonged wear. These look nice. The zippers are a bit sticky but mine are functioning well enough. They are narrower at the top of the bootie, so if you have a larger calf you might find you need to make them “slouch” a bit more! I liked the narrowness but see how it could cause a problem if you have muscular calves. They provide a very smooth walking surface. They provide a good grip and will not slide over hard surfaces like tile or hardwood the way hard-soled boots might. These are more of a “gummy” sole. I have no idea how they would be on ice, though! But indoors on hard floors you will have a very sure grip! As I mentioned, the aesthetic of the shorter boot with a taller height combined with a small slouch works WELL with almost any fashion silhouette but is very slimming for shorter people like me. I LOVE how the black PU looks with black leggings, but I can also see how it would provide balance with MANY outfits. Once again, though, if you plan to wear these with thick jeans, if you have muscular calves or wider calves you might have to change how you wear them because the jeans/thicker pants would take up room tucked into them at that one narrower spot on the top of the bootie. Ive been looking for flat but a bit higher-than-ankle slouch booties for some time. These will work. I hope they will hold up over time. If I have more discoveries as time passes, I will add them on to this review!

Love these boots so much and they look great with skinny jeans and with a dress! However, they’re almost a bit too narrow even though I don’t have particularly wide feet and I never buy ‘wide width’ footwear. I did buy 1/2 size larger so I could use my custom insoles. I’m 9.5 and bought 10. There’s enough room for my insoles and socks this way. The fit is otherwise great. The issue for me is that the foot part of the left boot is very stiff and doesn’t have much flexibility. It doesn’t bend where I need there to be some ‘give’ — in the area where bunions live. I’m concerned that since they’re pleather, they may not soften up. I don’t want to return them but it’s looking like I will. I gave 4 stars but would have given 5++.

I was surprised that these boots are rather comfortable, I did buy one half size larger than I normally wear so that I could place additional insoles and that will work beautifully I believe. I have not needed to wear them yet but I'm sure they will be fine.

These are super cute and the fit is true to size (I'm a size 9). My feet hurt after walking too much in them, but I bought them for style! Probably a good insole would make these more comfy.
