This boot is gorgeous in every aspect of its design. The material (while the pair I purchased were a suede that could get dirty or beat more easily than a smooth outer shell) seems good quality and looks classy, the roundness of the toe is perfect -- not at all pointy, the heel is good height to give that added height, but still be completely functional and comfortable for walking or even running, the heel also feels very solid and stable, and the height of the boots is really nice -- right around the knee, depending on your height. I ordered my typical heeled-shoe size, and the fit was just right. The only issue for me was that, despite being a more narrow shaft than most boots, the shaft was still too wide for me, even in jeans. I do not consider my legs to be particularly skinny, but these did not hug my calves the way one would expect of a stretchy boot. The boots probably won't fall down, but I was admittedly hoping for that hug. Despite that, I think the boots are so beautiful and well constructed that I'm giving them 5 stars. If these hug your calves, I hope you wear and walk those boots to wearing out -- you're going to look protagonist in a rom-com-level stunning!

First of all, I am a long-time lover of Dream Pairs. I have bought numerous pairs of shoes from this brand, most of which were boots. All of the shoes I have bought have been great quality for the price and have actually been nicer and more comfortable than some of my more expensive shoes. Having said that, let's talk about THESE boots in particular. I instantly fell in love with them the moment I opened the box! They are a soft suede and feel and look expensive. They have stretchy goring so that the shaft fits snugly around your calves without looking cheap. Speaking of calves, mine are wide, sometimes considered extra wide in some brands. I have muscular calves and I have difficulty squeezing into most tall boots unless they have some stretch or give to them. I believe when I measured my calves the last time, they were at 16.5 or 17 inches, which means finding tall boots that are great quality and fit are difficult. Enter THESE boots! The answer to all my prayers! I loved how much these looked and felt when I had them on that I bought a second pair. The first color I purchased was the tan/taupe color, and I knew after putting them on that I just had to have the black ones, too. Very stylish and comfortable! Perfect for any occasion because they can be dressed up or down! GET THESE BOOTS! YOU NEED THEM IN YOUR LIFE!

Love love love these boots! I’m a thicker girl, I don’t have extra wide calf’s but I am considered plus at a size 14/15. These are soooo comfortable for all day use. Dress them up or throw a pair of jeans on and have them a bit more casual. The calf fabric is stretchy yet beautiful. I bought them in brown as well! Just the right height for me!

These are surprisingly good quality for the price, and boxed really nicely in their own little shoe bags. The burgundy is deep and lovely; as my husband said: “It’s eggplant rather than bright purple!” :)) I wear an 8 and that’s what I got and the fit is really good. The heel is sturdy and the inside has comfortable support. My only issue is that I have bunions so these are a tiny bit tight across the width of the toes. But it’s not bad and I think I’ll just stretch them a bit. If I had to be on my feet all day in these, that could be an issue, but I think for normal wear they’ll be perfect. They are a little loose around the calf, but don’t look silly. I’m glad I went for the unusual color. I think they’ll be fun this winter!

I have to return these because the calf shaft is too wide for my calf. I thought it was a more narrow calf shaft, which I have to have due to my calves and legs over all being very thin. I was so hoping these would not be too wide in the shaft, but they were. THESE BOOTS ARE SUPER CUTE, COMFY AND FEEL REALLY GREAT. I did not ever "wear" them, but I did put them on with a pair of jeans tucked in and they were super cute. Unfortunately, the wide shaft made them look awkward on my body. Very sad I have to return as this is a great look that could be worn through changing styles over many years.
