I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be, but I was happy to find out that they are plenty comfortable! I wear a 9 in summer shoes and a 9.5 in winter boots to account for a sock underneath. They fit me true to size, with plenty of room in the toe box. And the platform and stacked heel walks more like a flat boot than a 3" heel. I might not want to wear them all day like some people do, but I probably could get away with it if I had to. I ordered the black pu and the black and ended up keeping the black pu. I thought they looked a little nicer, would hold up better, and accept waterproofing better. Both are matte black, made well and an attractive style, but the black pu has just a bit more sheen to it. All in all, one of my amazon success stories!

I was intimidated at the thought of an ankle boot due to a recent foot injury that has left my ankle and foot swollen, as well as needing support in all the right places to keep my foot from hurting 1 hr into a work day. Just the unwrapping of the boots I was impressed with the quality of materials used and the sturdiness of the sole. By some miracle my foot was able to slide into these boots! I wore them around the house and they passed the test. I plan to wear with a thin trouser sock while my foot is swollen. If my foot returns to its normal state I believe I could even wear thick wool socks with these.

I’m usually between a 8 and 7.5. I ordered a size 8 and they were too big so I ordered a 7.5 and they were PERFECT! So cute and comfy especially for the price. I will be ordering more colors!
