I am used to having to go through the uncomfortable break-in period for shoes. It makes the very idea of buying new shoes difficult for me. For this reason, I was very wary of buying shoes without being able to try them on first. When these shoes arrived I put them on right away. Slipping them on was a little tight but once I had them on, the left felt like it belonged on my foot already. Only the right showed any sign that this was a new shoe that might need breaking in. Even that took only one day before it felt fully comfortable and the slipping on became easier. First day of wear, I was able to walk in them for half an hour easy and my feet showed no sign that these were casual dress shoes. During this time I was able to present myself professionally; neat and stylish. They do scuff easily so that is something of which to be aware. I found that the faux suede would not return to normal in those places where it had taken more of a scuff. Certainly, be careful with them.

I got these to wear around Europe and was a little hesitant to pick something with a heel, but since they had memory foam I deciced to give them a try. They were fantastic! I walked in them about 7.5 miles a day for a week straight, and whle my feet hurt a little due to the high volume of walking, they were very comfortable and held up well (and they look super cute). I saw a review from someone else where her heel scuffed, and my shoes did not do that at all - they are still in really great shape. Especially for the price, the quality and comfort is much better than I expected. I highly recommend.

So I’m going to give this boot a 3/4 star review. They are super comfortable. They look good and both sides have Zippers for easy takeoff and put on. I ordered a size 10 and a size 11. I tried on the brown pair or the camel, which is a very rich caramel color, They fit very well then I tried on the size 10, which was the black pair and they were larger than the size 11. The size 10 was a little bit wider and longer in the toebox. Other than that, I like them and they’re perfect for this upcoming spooky season.
