In extreme nesting mode, I decided we needed a new bassinet. This looks great, was easy to assemble and was light enough that I could pull it close to the bed in the middle of the night when baby was crying. As other reviews stated, it’s a thin, pretty hard “mattress” pad, but didn’t seem to bother my newborn. He still had plenty of room to move around when he was 3 months before we moved him to the crib. It now serves a second life as a holder or ransoms things, as I haven’t taken it out of our room yet. My daughter absolutely loves this bassinet. Sometimes I think she sleeps better in it then her crib. I bought it to stay at my moms house when we come to visit and it’s very spacious and sturdy. The mat has a good amount of plush to it so I bought a sheet protector and sheets to go on top and it’s amazing. It’s mesh on the sides so you can see your baby and it’s breathable for them. The media could not be loaded. I put this bassinet up when I was about 6-7 months pregnant it was super easy to put up so it’s super easy to take it down and put back up , if you wanted to travel with it . Super sturdy, I’m not worried about it breaking down . My baby loves it lol only thing is it’s super low to the ground which kinda works for me because my bed is low but that’s just me, I put my baby in his Bobby pillow so I don’t have to lean too low . I originally bought this bassinet 2 years ago to keep in our living area so my baby could be off of the floor, but safe from our puppy when I needed free hands. :) It worked great for that purpose! I recently had another baby and have used the Dream on Me traveler bassinet for her to sleep in overnight in our room until she moved to the nursery. The mattress fabric is soft and cushioned while also being supportive. We’ve taken it on a trip and it folded flat and was easy to set up and take down, making it great to travel with!
