This bed is so cool, I almost wanted to trade my own in. Not only does it look like it belongs in a Pinterest nursery, but — wait for it — it turns into chairs. Yes, chairs. Plural. Like a Transformer, but make it adorable and made of New Zealand pine. Putting it together was surprisingly simple. My toddler supervised with a juice box and I only said “where’s that screw?” 47 times. Pretty standard. Now, as a bed, it’s sturdy, comfy, and safe — certified by so many acronyms I felt like I was buying a toddler-sized luxury vehicle. JPMA, ASTM, CPSC… I don’t know what half of those mean, but they sound very official. But the real kicker? When you tell your toddler, “This turns into chairs!” they actually want to clean their room just to see the transformation. I caught mine using the "chair mode" for a pretend pizza restaurant. Five stars for imagination and carb-themed creativity. 🍕 Highly recommend if you want a bed that grows with your child, encourages play, and makes guests say, “Wait… did that bed just turn into chairs?” ... show more

Fully assembled, this bed is cute and exactly what I wanted for my little one. I love the combination of paint and natural wood, and the height is perfect for tiny toddler legs. Assembly was less than fun, especially as I was too impatient to wait for my husband’s help and did it solo. I don’t know if it was user error or some of my parts were misnumbered, but I had to take apart and reassemble pieces several times. All the work of a jigsaw puzzle without the fun. Some of the pieces are very thin, and therefore also very fragile. I cracked a couple with overzealous bolt tightening. All in all, I’m happy my little has a new bed AND I would not put this together again myself. At least not without a glass of wine. ... show more

bought this as a gift for my nephew & it was so easy to assemble! i did it all by myself, the bed is pretty sturdy, i can even lay in it sometimes! the color was a beautiful black & tan. since it is a toddler bed, the height of the bed is about to the middle half of my calf & i am 5ft. but for the value, it is definitely worth the money! (no missing parts in my package) ... show more

    • Arrived broken
This bed looks adorable and is one of the few with side rails at both the head and foot. If you are one of the lucky people who have it arrive in good shape, you might be golden. The white pieces of this bed are made of fiber board and are fairly fragile. Sadly, the way the manufacturer currently packages this bed does not actually keep those pieces safe in shipping. They use a few thin pieces of foam and a thin cardboard box, so even small dents to the exterior box transfer through to the bed pieces and damage it. Such a bummer because I think the bed would probably have been strong enough to handle my kid *if* it had not arrived broken. Ultimately, we sent it back and opted for a toddler bed we could find locally rather than chance getting a second broken bed (we don’t live somewhere with two day shipping). If they change the packaging or you have the time/patience to order it multiple times, it could be an adorable option for your kiddo ... show more
