This bed is so cool, I almost wanted to trade my own in. Not only does it look like it belongs in a Pinterest nursery, but — wait for it — it turns into chairs. Yes, chairs. Plural. Like a Transformer, but make it adorable and made of New Zealand pine. Putting it together was surprisingly simple. My toddler supervised with a juice box and I only said “where’s that screw?” 47 times. Pretty standard. Now, as a bed, it’s sturdy, comfy, and safe — certified by so many acronyms I felt like I was buying a toddler-sized luxury vehicle. JPMA, ASTM, CPSC… I don’t know what half of those mean, but they sound very official. But the real kicker? When you tell your toddler, “This turns into chairs!” they actually want to clean their room just to see the transformation. I caught mine using the "chair mode" for a pretend pizza restaurant. Five stars for imagination and carb-themed creativity. 🍕 Highly recommend if you want a bed that grows with your child, encourages play, and makes guests say, “Wait… did that bed just turn into chairs?” ... show more

So this bed is cute and has a modern look but a few things I worry about but can happen on most toddler beds is the low wood edges when my son throws himself back too quick he can hit his head on the headboard since it’s not taller. I am thinking of by pool noodles to slice 1/2 in the middle to cover the edges up for some safety. Also not the easiest for them to learn to crawl in and out takes time getting on the right way and off. ... show more

The assembly is terrible! There is no clear indication on what pieces need to be on the left or the right side, or when things legs might be on backwards. It took a lot of undoing of screws and fixing by the time I got to the last step. So far still looks like a cute bed, but additional pieces are needed to turn it into two benches and a table as advertised. Having to do everything with an Allen wrench means everything t woes longer, too. ... show more
