When putting these together make sure you use a Phillips head screwdriver to hold the screw in place on one side while tightening with the wrench they provide on the other. If anyone thinks these are not sturdy, it’s because you haven’t put it together correctly. Also a wrinkle spray for the ruffles would come in handy after assembly or you could just spray the ruffles with water and kinda run your fingers down the ruffles to get the wrinkles out. I was so happy with my first purchase for my first granddaughter that I bought a second for my second granddaughter coming 2.5 months apart! The negative and positive reviews In my opinion are both accurate. The directions are confusing and did not help me put this together. What helped was looking at the colored picture on amazon and zooming in to what part i was putting together, patience and one of the positive reviews saying if you put it together and it's wobbly then you did it wrong. I am due for my c-section tomorrow morning and put this together last night it was frustrating because the bassinet part came with the mattress in the wrong way so I put the top together wrong and had to take it apart and do it again. And when you use just the wrench it does seem as if it's wobbly or won't go any further. I had to use the wrench and Phillips at the same time to tighten the bottom and the top I had to have patience with the wrench. Overall it was worth it now that it is done. If you have time and patience it is not a waste of money. If you dont like putting things together or don't have patience this product is not for you. Maybe me being pregnant and due tomorrow made it harder but the process had me want to give up and I didn't feel safe to put my baby in it so I was on the negative review side. But, patience and not wanting to have wasted money or have the baby come home and not be able to sleep in it helped me and the one positive review also helped.
