The crib overall is super cute. We had to add on a nursery so we needed something small and this is a perfect fit. I’m 5’1” and the height is actually great. I love how much shorter it is compared to a regular crib! My negative is the directions are absolute trash. Pieces had stickers on them that didn’t match the pictures or the writing. The writing and picture directions didn’t match. This is my third baby so I just built it without them. Putting it together was easy once I tossed the directions. My only other complaint is is that it has many dings where the paint has chipped scraped off. Overall I’m happy with it. I would add a picture but there is no option for me to do so ... show more

now i really like this crib, design-wise... BUT the instruction booklet may as well have been put together in German by an infant using his toes! the written part didn’t match the pictures provided, which by the way, were mislabeled themselves! the pictures of alphabetically labeled parts were paired with the wrong written directions and a lot of the labels for the physical parts were missing! i’m 8 months pregnant so it was already going to be a physical struggle for me but mentally, i was outdone when i realized it took me more than 3 hours to put this thing together; being that i pretty much had to do it blindly, save for the pictures provided in the amazon ad itself! i had to continuously put parts together and then backtrack because of the crappy “instructions”! it was HORRIBLE! got halfway finish maybe three times and had to take it apart over and over! extremely frustrating.. although, i did give it A star for the design and size! ... show more

I was able to assemble this by myself. The directions could have been clearer though. I had to figure a couple parts out on my own. When assembled its pretty sturdy although a couple pieces seem like they should be a little tighter, but nothing that makes me think it could affect its safety. It was really hard to assemble didn't have letters on the pieces and instructions would tell you to assemble one way and then when you have it already like the instructions you had too re-do it again.

The instructions did not help, the peices were not labeled to match the instructions, the instructions missed steps. The pieces came with scrapes already to the paint. Cheap product I don’t expect it too last long.

The mattress is super thin so buy your own. You will also need a mesh around the crib to keep babies legs from getting stuck. I love the size and the color is exact on the navy blue. You can adjust the position of the mattress from higher to lower when they get older to stand. It is not the most sturdy material so you can’t lean your own body weight but it will hold a small child. My four year old climbs on it and she’s above average size.
