Crib is perfect for temporary use by grandparents etc. Reasonably sturdy and well-designed. It's not easy for one person to put together, but for two people it's a 35-40 minute job. Easy to fold and to move around. There's a few things missing in the design, such as a way to lock it into the folded position, but at this price point it's hard to quibble. If I had to complain about anything it would be the packaging. The hardware pack was broken and leaked the various parts into the box. Given that many of these nuts/bolts are quite small, it was a pain. But other than that, I am quite pleased with this purchase. ... show more

my 2.5 yr old daughter and I are staying at my parents home and we only had a pack and play for her to sleep in. I was desperate to find either a larger pack and play or other alternative to give her a more appropriate sleeping arrangement. After some searching I found this portablr crib and though some reviews were negative I bought it anyway. I needed a portable crib that can fold to keep at my parents house so as not to take up too much of their space.. It arrived very quickly and I assembled it myself and it was easy, with all the parts and pieces in the delivery. I brought my daughters standard sized cri mattress and it fit perfectly into the crib! the finished crib is sturdy and with no scratches and good quality! My daughter slept peacefully through the night and I'm so happy I bought this crib! There's a locking function for two of the four wheels. It's easy to lift the base and fold the crib to transport/ roll the crib in and out of the room doorways The cherry finish looks expensive and it's a clean design! the top side long rails has a rubber like cover over them to prevent babies from chewing on it. Great detail! I'm getting a crib skirt and bumper to give it a more polished look ( because the metallic fixtures are exposed though not a hazard IMHO) ... show more

We considered a smaller portable crib, but decided on a full size so we could just keep the same one as our son grows. Nice finish. Easy assembly. We are using it as an every day crib (not an occasional grandparents' house crib) and it seems reasonably sturdy for that. We are folding and unfolding almost every day as we make our little apartment work for our big family. I did not install the wheels. I put felt pads on the feet for better sliding and to protect the floor. I was afraid the wheels were not sturdy enough for extended use, and that our very strong and active child would walk the crib around by shaking it if it were on wheels. No problem on the felt pads. The finish is very nice. Our son has chewed a bit on one side, and it's not looking too bad yet, but we may have to add a guard or cover later. There was a manufacturing deficiency, but fortunately I am very handy and was able to fix it myself. There is a stiffening bar screwed and glued to the bottom of the mattress support panel (on the hinge side) that was barely screwed or glued. I saw it was coming off and the frame of the panel was cracking. I removed the bar, drilled for new screw location near the original ones, applied a liberal amount of carpenter's glue and screwed it in to new screw holes. All seems well ever since. ... show more

We love this crib. We are safety conscious parents who developed anxiety about traveling to the grandparents house for overnight trips after several attempts went bad, with our child not being able to sleep in a new house. Everyone was up all night and it was miserable. Desperate, I bought this crib for the grandparents house. We were able to recreate our child's home sleep environment. The crib is large enough to do so. It is not a tiny receptacle like many of the other travel cribs. It is no pack and play. Our kid knows the diff. It was sturdy enough that I felt it is a very safe crib. It folds up easily and can be stored out of the way. Our most recent trip home, our child slept quietly 2 full nights in a row. We have already got our money's worth. The only gripe is one that was mentioned in many other reviews of this crib. The great big sticker on the crib is hard to get off and compromises its appearance a bit. Overall, would buy this again. A good nights sleep is a precious thing. ... show more

Bought 2 for the twins. Use at most 2 times a week. Bought less than a year ago. Rated at 50 pounds and a 32 pound child broke it. Very poor materials and or design.

We have a smaller home and were looking for a great way to have our grandchildren sleep in comfort without having a large crib taking up room when they are not here. The crib arrived quickly it was packaged well and was nice however there was some damage on some of the railings that showed the white wood under the stain one spot was large these seemed to have been there before being shipped one place was obviously repaired. The seller was very difficult to get in contact with and there was virually NO customer service after purchase. My only choice seemed to be to package it all back up and return to amazaon (who has great customer service) or just live with it as is. All I was hoping for was some matching stain or a small refund to purchase my own stain to repair ourselves. Bummer, I would not work with this company again. ... show more

This is a great crib. We use the regular crib mattress in it. I was disappointed though, when I bought this same crib in store it came with a 2 inch mattress that was great because it folded up inside the crib for storage. The full size crib mattress does not allow this. I wish this one came with the smaller mattress as well. ... show more

    • Need mattress specs and quality control!

Package was really beat up but crib was ok. Mattress board had some staples pulled loose (cheap construction) and I had to replace four wood screws that were not long enough or not counter-sunk properly. The crib bolts must be loosened to get mattress board out for folding and the mattress board latches had to be adjusted as they did not line up properly. Crib description on Amazon does not specify mattress size, but warnings on box and bed call for larger mattress than we ordered. Only off by a quarter inch so not going to worry about it. Mattress size specs should definitely be in the crib description. Looks like it should work fine, but quality control was lacking. Should not have to rework the crib during assembly. ... show more
