DO NOT BUY FALSE CLAIM of a convertible crib. you basically DREAM ON if you think you can get the parts for this crib to convert you cannot get the parts to convert and they are "back ordered" for at least 6-7 months for the STABILIZER BAR.. you need it dont think you can make it work without it.. AND its $40 for the bar and $40 for the RAIL totally not worth it. save your money make sure you can buy the conversion kit for your crib before you get the crib or you are screwed like me by Dream On Me.. ... show more

Great crib! I ordered this crib in a rushand didnt take much time to research or read reviews. I later discovered a few things: 1. Cribs don't come with a mattress. 2. There are full size cribs and mini cribs. This is full sized. It was pretty simple to put tigether, looks great, has adjustable heights- overall an excellent purchase. ... show more

I'm happy we picked this one. It was a great price on it open box like new so saved a bit there as well. Originally was gonna get the ikea crib for 99 but this is just as sturdy and gives you more color options, the one area ikea greatly lacks. Was a bit annoying putting together solo but doable. The Dream on Me, Classic 3 in 1 Convertible Crib is a great product. Construction is good and all the parts included. The spring base has all of the springs and easily attaches to the frame. Three reasons for deducting one star: 1. We still can't figure out what 3-in-1 means and how it applies to this crib. It's more of a 2-in-1 2. While the assembly is very simple, it takes two adults 3. Adjusting the spring base will likely require removing one side, removing 4 screws/nuts and re-positioning. A two-person job most likely. Assembly Tip #1: Assemble the first three sides upside down, then flip to right-side-up to install the spring base, then attached the fourth side with the crib upside-down. It makes assembly much easier. Assembly Tip #2: the plastic runners on the sides should face the ceiling. ... show more

We wanted to have a crib at our home for our granddaughter when we babysit. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as this was mainly for naps. My husband and I had it put together in under 30 minutes (without a single argument). I haven't bought a crib in 25 years, so maybe this is how they do it now but my biggest issue is the attachment design of the spring frame (the piece the mattress sits on). The crib allows for 4 heights as the baby grows but it is attached with a screw and bolt system which means the bed has to be partially disassembled in order to raise and lower the mattress. That is going to be a pain. For a 2nd crib, it certainly does the job but I don't know if this would be the purchase I would make for daily, long term, multiple children use. ... show more

I haven't been able to put the crib to use yet as I'm only 6 months pregnant so this review is based off of my first impressions. If something changes in the future, I'll be sure to update as necessary. Anyways, the crib is relatively easy to put together. At 5 months pregnant I was able to whip it together in no time. It does come with optional wheels that I decided I did not want to use. The structure seems sturdy enough and so far I'm confident in its ablitity to handle daily use with an infant/toddler. The color really is a pure white, it's very beautiful. That said there was one tiny knick in the wood, about the size of my pinky, on one of the sides. The paint was still there it was just indented a bit. That isn't a big deal to me at all so it doesn't hinder my review but I thought I should mention it. What I really like is that it comes with attached teething guards! How awesome is that? My old crib from my 5 year old didn't not have one and I mean some areas looked like a wood chuck got a hold of it! lol So, I'm excited about that feature. I bought it from an “open box, like new” and believed it had missing pieces because the pictures indicate you can use this bed 3 ways. I thought that was an unbelievable deal for the price and that’s because it is. The pictures don’t tell you you have the buy the stabilizer bar ($40) and the toddler rail ($40) separately. And just an additional annoying factor, the bar wasn’t available in the color that matches my crib. It’s still a good crib for $100ish but it would be better if you were prepared for that being the nature of it. It was easy to put together, even alone, and I think if you use the 4 walls that come it will be very stable. But be warned, they don’t tell you the toddler bed version and open front version materials are not included and will basically double the price of the crib. ... show more

My husband and I are in our early 70's. Early next year we're going to start taking care of our infant grandson everyday. We ordered this crib for him to use when he's at our house. We've put a few cribs together during our 50 yrs. of marriage. This one wasn't too difficult to assemble, but you should try to have two people working together. We read some of the earlier reviews, and we took the advice of the man who said to put three sides together first (one long side and the two ends), put in the metal frame that holds the mattress, and THEN put in the last long side. This works well. My biggest complaint is that there were stickers on the wood parts that needed to be removed. They looked really ugly!. They were very difficult to remove, even with a generous amount of Goo Gone. You can't use any kind of scraper, because you'll scratch-up the wood. You just have to use a lot of adhesive solvent and your fingernail. (Very tiresome!) However, the crib looks very nice when you finally get it done. Over all, it seems like it's going to be a good, sturdy crib for our grandson, and I'm giving it a good rating. ... show more
