Worked for what I needed it for, a blockage in my bathroom sink. Got rid of the plug. I let it sit for about 30 minutes and then poured hot water down the drain and there went the block. Will always buy Draino. Best product.

Drano typically works on clogged drains. However, not quite sure it did the trick this time. I made the mistake of using baking soda and vinegar and let it sit overnight by accident. It essentially created a cement blockage in the drain. I used the whole bottle of Drano for two consecutive applications. It cleared it enough so I can actually use the sink, but I’ve ordered drain snakes to try to really break up the baking soda/vinegar mixture and hair which I can still see by shining a light down the drain. Lesson learned.

Drano max gel works fast Cleared my clogged sink in no tine. Poured it in waited a few minutes ran some water and the drain runs smooth again super easy and effective great product for the price. I would recommend to clear up and clogged sinks.

This does the job, I lose lots of hair everyday and my shower drain clogg very often, I like using this product because it helps to unclog although I always try to make sure there is not too much hair stuck on the hole bc sometimes is way too much that wont work well. But if I kind of clear the way a bit. It works wonders and fast. Doesn't have an strong smell so it is bearable.

I picked up this twin pack of Drano Max Gel with the usual hope of effortlessly clearing a slow-draining shower and sink. While it did offer some improvement, it wasn't the magic bullet I always secretly wish these products would be. For minor, everyday clogs, particularly those caused by hair and soap scum, Drano Max Gel does a reasonably good job. I poured the recommended amount down a sluggish shower drain, let it sit for the instructed time, and followed up with hot water. The drain did clear up, allowing water to flow more freely than before. It handled a similar, light blockage in a bathroom sink with comparable results. It's certainly easier and less messy than snaking a drain for simple issues. The gel consistency is a plus, as it seems to cling to the gunk better than thinner liquids. The 80 oz size in a pack of two offers a decent value, ensuring you have some on hand for future minor annoyances. However, this isn't the solution for every clog. For anything more substantial or stubborn, like a truly backed-up drain or a deeper blockage, Drano Max Gel tends to fall short. I've had instances where it only partially cleared a problem, requiring multiple applications or ultimately leading me to resort to a plumber or a more robust mechanical solution. It feels more like a temporary fix or a preventative measure for light build-up rather than a heavy-duty clog destroyer.
