These boots have a great design, good for personal and professional wear. Wide calf boots don’t always fit well so I was surprised with the comfort in the calf width. They were snug around the ankles but not a deal breaker for me. The heel is solid and provides a small height increase, the soles extremely comfortable with good grip. My only problem with these boots is that the toe tapers and squishes my toes. My shoe size is consistent and I ordered my normal size, but my toes go numb when standing in these boots after a while. I have fairly large calves and even “wide calf” boots can be tricky to find in a good fit. These went on with ease! I wear size 9-9.5 so ordered these in a 9.5. They were a bit snug with winter socks on, so can only wear with lighter ankle socks. If you want to wear heavier socks, you should size up. Pretty happy with them overall though. ... show more

Loved the color - loved the look- very comfie but the elastic piece is not so forgiving - I am not sure “wide calf” is true. My other wide calf boots are loose on my calf - I had to put on a silky knee high to zip this - top 3 inches - but then it was ok didn’t rub or cut in - I love them!!

I was having such a hard time finding wide calf boots that I ordered several pairs to try on and these were the only ones that worked! They are comfortable enough right out of the box. I wouldn’t run a 5k in them, but I wore them for two straight days of work and a Halloween event and don’t have blisters. They also are extremely reasonably priced.
