I accidentally ordered this boot imstead of the chukka boot, but this is better. The chukka boot was also not water proof/resistant like this is. I was so excited to receive my Doc Martens. I’m a child of the 90’s and I remember all the cool goth kids in my school wore Docs and listened to Depeche Mode. Well, I’m a DM fan too and recently went to a DM dance party where so many people had Doc Martens on. I decided to go for it and order a pair for myself too, both for the sake of fashion and function. The price of these boots was great and the quality is excellent. They’re a little loose (I should’ve sized down - I’m an 8 but 7 would’ve been a snug fit), but I don’t feel like returning/exchanging them, so I’ll wear them with thick socks. I love these boots! I bought them for our cross-country motorcycle trip. They were super comfortable to wear for hours at a time when we got caught in the rain. These are the most comfortable shoes I own. That includes sneakers and slippers and all of my footwear. I'm very tempted to get an extra pair, but I'm not sure if these will ever wear out. I'm doing it, I'm getting another pair after I hit submit. For $70 I have to!!!
