The leather is a little stiff, but the shoes are comfortable. The patent is very shiny. The are very versatile, you can dress them up and down and wear them with trousers, skirts, shorts, dresses. I wear a nine in closed toe shoes to be able to wear them with thick socks, I purchased this shoes 1/2 size smaller and they fit great.

i run a size 9 in docs but these were about a half size too big, but it can work with the right socks. they are very stiff, i bought these as dressy work shoes and i can tell just from trying them on that my feet will hurt for the first few wears probably. the tongue digs into the top of my foot. they look cute in the photos but look like a men’s dress shoe in person until i style them correctly

I typically wear a size 9 and have wide feet. I took a chance and got these in size 8 and am happy I did. I definitely had to break them in, they were extremely painful and uncomfortable not gonna lie. At times when I took them off I felt like my feet regained feeling, and wearing them almost felt unbearable the first few days. Within a week or two of pretty solid wear I no longer have any discomfort at all. They’re super adorable and I get tons of compliments on them. My Doc boots are a size nine and noticeably looser, I did want these to fit better and appear less bulky for work and am happy to say that they stretched sufficiently as other reviewers mentioned. I did stuff really thick socks in them when not wearing also.
