I know that doc martens can be stiff at first, and require you to break them in. But these were incredibly rigid, to the point where I couldn’t even wear them around the house to TRY and break them in. I think the patent leather material causes them to be extra firm. As cute as they were, they were okay impractical and uncomfortable so I returned them.

I bought these to replace an older pair but they changed the shape of the toe and I liked the older shape much better so I returned them. The older toe was more rounded. When I compared them side by side I just didn’t like the new shape.

These are cute shoes and the leather was soft, they seem to run big though so I exchanged for a smaller size.

Amazing fit. I always hesitate to buy shoes on line as you never know if they're going to fit, these are perfect! I trusted one reviewer who recommended going down a size, SOOOOO glad I listened. I wore them out of the box without socks for some errands to see if they gave me any hot-spots to pay attention to... NOTHING but a buttery soft feel. I received a compliment from a random stranger.. they look really good. I am thinking of adding a little dark brown polish to give them a little character because they are in one complete uniform color. If you're thinking of getting these, YES, go down a size, I have wide feet and these were not an issue at all, BUY THEM, you won't regret it. The leather is NOT STIFF like the old Dr. Martens. I didn't like the flat all one color, I touched them up with a little black polish, look amazing!

I have worn Docs since the late 80s. I traditionally wear a 9.5 in ladies shoes here in the US. But in Docs I’m always a UK7/US9. I ordered the same size in these and they were like a US8.5 NARROW. I could hardly get my feet in them. One thing I always liked about Dr Martens is that they designed unisex shoes that were always roomy and comfortable. These felt like Stuart Weitzman stepped in as a guest designer! They are beautiful to look at, and if you’re a narrow foot, go for it! You’ll love them. I returned mine.

it looks gorgeous. better than pics depict. looks classy. only downsize is that i have to break in them. right foot on the back side is blistering only after 30 min wearing at home. i usually wear 7 US size. ordered UK 4(US 6) fits perfect. i can wear it with sneaker socks.

I love the color, and the comfort of the shoe. I got lots of compliments from the students. I do not like that the back is a bit stiff and it gave me a blister. I have to put on a band-aid on the spot in order for the shoe not to bother me. I am a teacher, so comfort is key.
