I purchased these boots for an overseas trip and they were perfect. The leather was soft and pliable. I walked the city streets for several hours and my feet didn’t get fatigued. Nothing like the original Docs but what is like the original nowadays. Mine in the early eighties was nearly indestructible. And had a lifetime warranty from the factory. If this pair lasts more than 5 years, it should get a retirement with pension. Anyways as I said, it is good for what it is.
