I got these for work since my feet always hurt. The Café I work at has concrete floors and these seem to really help when I'm on my feet for 8+ hours a day. The only down side is that they are NOT slip resistant. Which is scary when you have concrete floors that often get wet from coffee, water, and food bits. Other than that I love them. They clean up easily too which is great so I can use them for ren faires outside of work.

First let me say that I am on my feet a big part of each day as I work in agriculture. When it was time to get new work boots, I tried on at least 10 pairs over a few months period. I tried Ariat (which I’ve worn many times), Carhartt, Columbia, and Timberland. I even tried out Keen hiking boots and I returned them all. I have not worn Docs since high school (many years ago) and never thought of them as a possible work boot. I took a chance on them and I’m so happy I did. These are the most comfortable boots I’ve worn in a long time!!! I absolutely love them. They are stylish and comfortable. Now it did take me a few days to mold my lower legs to the stretchy top of the boot above my ankles, but after that, an amazing fit! I wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and the 7 was perfect. Docs run big.

I'd never wanted docs because I was only familiar with the lace ups, and they seemed like a pain to put on. But a colleague had a pair of these, and they were so cute with jeans that I finally decided to try a pair. I only wish I'd gotten them sooner. They're the most comfortable shoes I own. I thought they would be heavy, but not at all.

I was worried that my foot wouldn't go into what appeared to be a tight fit at the top, but the elastic stretched and fir like a soft glove. Love these boots. They do run just a touch big compared to other 10s I buy, but not enough to worry about. Nice and wide as well.
