I've had a bunch of different Dr Marten's shoes, from boots to oxfords. I've always been a UK size 3 (US 4 in men's, a US 5 in women's, an EU 36). Because this style is a bit on the narrow side and the leather is quite stiff, I had to size up to a UK size 4 (5, 6 and 37, respectively). The shoe's a bit loose now, but with tightening the laces they are quite comfortable. What I really like is the cushioning around my heel; I wish all of their oxford-type shoes had it as without it the upper edge around the heel causes blisters. I'm still breaking these in; I've only worn them twice, and I've yet to take them out for a walk. Again: the leather is really, really stiff. Try sizing up one size, wear non-sheer socks, and break them in before walking more than, say, four blocks in them.

Also my doc it’s odd the other doc quad Holly is a bigger both size five and I choose 8053 bcuz its padding by ankle it’s more comfortable. I’m with my doc I highly recommend all doc but mostly this style lol.

Truly is leather and fits well. My right foot is bigger than left so I didn’t size down and I’m glad I didn’t anyone else though I would recommend sizing down. Also make sure to either wear long socks or put bandaids on the back of your ankle because the leather definitely rubs and can hurt really bad.

I love the shoes because they dress up any outfit and work dressy or casual. I love the platform. Very sturdy shoes. They gave me blisters though because they take a while to break in, however I put heel pad guards and now they’re better. Love them a lot but be warned they do take approximately a month to break in.

These shoes are not adjustable at all (tightening the laces does barely anything) so you will defintily want to SIZE DOWN. They are beautiful shoes, but i had to return them because I ordered my normal size and my heels slide completely out of them as I walk.
