Love this shoe. A true non-slip. They break-in easily and I received a bunch of compliments. I have owned many pairs of Dr. Martens over the years so I have no doubt that these will last just as long as the others.

I've been buying Dr. Marten's shoes and boots for well over 30 years. I've probably owned twenty pairs. I always, always, always worn a US size 12 (UK 11). Never fails. They've always been a smidge big, but 11US/10UK we're always too snug. I wear an 11.5 wide in New Balance and Saucony sneakers. And an 11.5 or 12 (US) in EVERYTHING else. I first bought my usual 12US/11UK in these and they were wicked tight. Like I got them on, but I can guarantee I'd end up with either blisters, or a deformed/blown upper. I checked them against older pairs I have and while the length was about the same, they were almost a half inch (2 cm) narrower at the widest part of the sole. If you wear an E or 2E you are SOL. I ended up exchanging for a pair of US13/UK12 and they are comfortable width wise, but a bit loose in the heel now. I'm not sure I'll keep them. They are the same width as my 10 year old US12/US13 boots and 5 year old shoes. Mind you, I'm talking about the outer sole, the very bottom, i.e. the part that doesn't "stretch" with wear. I feel like this is another brand lost to overseas quality problem.

If you’re thinking of buying these- DO IT! I’ve been a fan of docs for over 5 years, and these are easily the most comfy shoe I’ve ever worn. They fit great. There is no breaking in process. They are so comfortable and cute! I would recommend wearing long socks with them tho

I have wore Dr. Marten's Chelsea boot for years now and they have always held up through the toughest conditions. I have a pair that has lasted me 3 years, 1 of which I was working at an extremely busy car wash, 1 year as a maintenance man, and even have wore them now, working in construction... THE SAME PAIR! I just bought this pair with the enhanced grip and have not had a chance to try them on yet, but once I do, I will update this review to compare their standard Chelsea boot with this enhanced pair. I work hard for a living and I expect my boots to also, so hopefully these hold up like the last!
