After buying these I saw a lot of reviews saying these are fake. I almost cancelled my order but decided to see for myself. The box was legit in every way. The shoes are legit. They feel and smell like leather. The inside of the boot is clearly leather. The stitching overlaps only once. They aren’t comfortable at first I wear 10 and a half. I got a size 10 and they’re definitely snug. But after wearing them for only about an hour they feel looser already. I don’t know if everyone got the same ones as I got but these are definitely real. They’re listed at 170 on docs website and the mono color you can’t find at many stores. For 130 these are a steal and they look slick.

I got a size up as some of the comments suggested, but had to return and get the next size down. I usually wear a 6.5, but the 6 fits just fine. I would definitely recommend using mink oil to help with breaking in and to protect the leather. Overall, these boots are SO cute and so comfortable. They are my second pair of Docs (I have had the first pair for 8 years and they are still in good shape), they are fantastic shoes and totally worth the money.

This doctor is a snake oil salesman. Calling this a leather boot is a joke. It's made of plastic. 150 dollars for a 40 dollar shoe. They look cool though, I'll give them that, but good lord they're cheaply made. There's better options for half the price and true leather boots for a few dollars more. I needed a "light" boot for work, and supposedly this are good for summer, but I don't know how well plastic breathes

What happened to Dr. Marten's boots? They were sturdy, thick, and well built. These shoes are nearly paper thin and the soles have little cushion. I was convinced that I had been scammed into buying imitation knock-off boots until I confirmed that I did buy actual these Dr. Marten's authentic boots. Such a pity and heartbreaking.

I got the monochrome smooth black boots for work. I work in a lab with frozen specimens. I spend quite some time in a walk in freezer and the slip proof sole is invaluable for this. They are pretty tough boots but more comfortable than alot of shoes i've worn. Even a pair of Dr. Scholl's brand shoes didn't compare to these. After walking around for eight hours at work, my feet feel golden. The title said women's boots at amazon but these are pretty much unisex at other places. I usually wear an US 8 1/2 and i tried on a 9 at a store and it was too big so i sized down to a US 8 (UK 7)when i ordered from amazon. The size was dead-on on my foot. I was a little worried at first but they stretched out to a perfect fit over a week of daily wear. Do wear thick socks or put bandages where the boot rubs because it will rub you raw. Do this until they mold to your feel (about a week). The back of the ankle was the worst spot for me so i put fabric bandaids on in those spots before i put the boots on. The ones i received were made in thailand for those who care - I don't!!! They are awesome quality boots. If you polish them with shoe wax they will get really shiny or just clean them and keep them with that "smooth" look.

I've had these boots for a few years and I absolutely love them! I've always wanted a pair of Doc's and fell in love with these because of the fact that they're all black, including the stitching. They do take a little while to break in though. When I first got them I had to wear band-aids on the back of my ankles and two pairs of socks in or else I would get blisters. After a few wears though they got a lot better and now I'm able to wear them with think socks. The only other thing I would say is to maybe go half a size up. I'm a size 6 in most shoes and got just that in these. Although they do fit, my top is almost right at the tip. They're not uncomfortable or anything but a little extra wiggle room would have been nice. Overall I am super happy with them and very glad that I got them!
