Size 4 men is equivalent to a size 5 women. I am typically a size 5.5-6 in US women. I ordered unisex Dr. Martens size 4 men (5 women) and they fit snug but they fit well. These are well designed and constructed shoes that appear to be able to hold up and last for awhile. I find these shoes both comfortable and stylish. You could wear these shoes in all seasons although I do not recommend wearing these in any wet condition weather as the material could get messed up. ... show more

These are not as heavy as other dr marten shoes. They are comfortable to wear throughout the day but you need to keep up with cleaning them otherwise they start to look faded

Nice shoes. Accurate sizing however the leather is very very soft and therefore stretchy so after only a week of having them I have had to go from the third hole on the strap to now having to make more holes. Will run out of space very quickly.. this makes me scared of very fast wear and tear. Also I don’t feel too secure in them because the whole shoe has stretched. I was not happy at all with the fit of these shoes. I am giving it a 3 because I had to return them twice. Please beware of the sizing. Could have been due to the size that we wear, but I ordered two pair in mine and my daughters size (we know our size “5” as we wear; own other pairs of this brand). The first pair were too small, so I had to return and ordered a size up which were the “6”, and these too were the same size as the size I just sent back. Strange! However, if you can get your size to work they were in great shape and a beautiful shoe, and I loved the price. We just couldn’t get the size to work for us. Received Sand color show yesterday, expecting the black ones to arrive today. The shoes I did get are amazing. They appear well made, I reserved a star because of my legit concern regarding the strap coming loose on several reviews. I will update after wearing a few times. The color is just as pictured. It goes with everything! The comfort is 10 plus, absolutely no break in time required. The value was there for me as I caught them at a reduced price, although if they are durable as I expect them to be, they are worth full manufacturing price, IMO. Wearability is effortless, they glide on and thankfully in my case stay on, sock or no sock no problems. 5 star worthy if they perform as expected. ***The Black pair of shoes came in as expected the next day but they were NOT new. They were clearly returns and I promptly sent them right back. I am enjoying the Sand color mules I kept but NO, NO and NO to sending customers returns unless they state its a return up front and the customer agrees. ... show more
