With 8 eyes, classic leather, yellow stitching and grooved sides, the 1460 carries the DNA of the original Doc Martens boot. The only key difference? A narrower design for women. Built to last, this women’s boot is forged using one of the finest methods of construction: utilizing a Goodyear welt and heat- sealing it to the sole. The 1460 is made with highly durable leather and sits on an AirWair sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance. Use Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to protect the leather and keep your boots clean, soft and supple.

Very pleased with my purchase! The boot feels durable yet lightweight for the brand. Looks like a stylish workbook more so than a fashion boot but could certainly pass as a fasion boot with the proper attire. All around, a very versatile boot. I chose these over the full leather ones (of the same style) for their breathability, as I will be able to wear them in all 4 seasons, limited in the summer, of course. For me, following the recommendation to size down for those whom typically wear 1/2 sizes, worked well. I typically wear a size 6 1/2 but got these in a size 6. They fit great! I can wear thick socks with them, or an orthodic/insert. OR regular thickness socks and have a little extra wiggle room in the toe-box, which feels good and is good for you. Always wanted a pair since the 1980's and i finally pulled the trigger. Even though these are not made in England they are still awesome and way more comfy than i imagined. I love the old style and look of these and may get a back up pair so i can have them far into the future.

These boots are really cute, but they are HUGE. I accidentally cut the tags off before realizing they are about a whole size bigger than what I actually wear. I normally wear and 8, so I ordered that, but should have gotten a 7. I also don't like the little pillow cushion that is under the toe bed; however, it might be more comfortable if the shoe fit correctly. ... show more
