I purchased this for a dog bed and it works great. The stuffing does have a slight chemical/sweet smell that I don't love, but once it's in you can't smell it.

The foam pieces are smaller and are better then the bigger chunks. Doesn't make it feel lumpy. My chair didn't come with enough so I had to buy some. The value is good. I got 10lbs and I think I may get a little more. The package seems small when you get it but it does expand a lot. I could definitely tell the difference.

I'm still giving this 5 stars because the item is as described. Unfortunately I used it to fill a Big Joe bean bag chair. With the Styrofoam beads removed I stuffed all ten pounds into the chair. The chair sits up and looks completely full but as soon as my 45 pound son sat In the chair he sank to the floor. So I purchased a second 10 pound package of foam and stuffed that in the chair thinking if it were more dense that it would hold up, but he still sank about half way to the floor. These foam pieces are from about 1/4 inch to 3/4 inches in size and are very soft, as the description says they would probably be great for pillows and dog beds but not chairs. We now have a 20 pound Big Joe chair that I have put way to much money into. I might have to see if I can find a harder foam with bigger pieces, because the Styrofoam just doesn't last, I'm just not sure if I want to put anymore money into this chair.

The product is exactly as specified. I have two over sized couch pillows. The old stuffing became flat after couple year's. I bought a 3” foam roll, cut it to size, but it hurt my back when using couch. Got this as a replacement filler, but this was way too soft. I put the solid foam back in and used this as filler. Worked great, now have both support and softness. If the pillows had been normal size this probably would have worked fine by itself. There was no odor, the bags ship compressed and expanded quickly. Don’t rip bag open quickly or you’ll have foam pieces everywhere. :)

I received this medium size box, maybe 14x14x14 and to my amazement it contained 4 compressed bags of this filler. I patiently separated all 4 bags to fill my medium size adult been bag chair. It's not even half full! This product did NOT expand to 8 cubic feet by any means. Now I'm mad because I'm into this for $80 in filter for a $60 bean bag cover. It would take at least 1 more order, likely 2, to fill a bean bag chair. Mind you, this is NOT one of those giant bean bags. Slightly larger than a child's. This product is inadequate.

As other reviewers said, this does not support any body weight-at all! You can see how flat my pouf got when I sat on it and I’m about 100 pounds. It’s probably great for pillows and dog beds. But Amazon recommended it for my leather pouf and after spending all that time meticulously overstuffing it, it’s pretty much useless and I can’t exactly return this shredded memory foam now.
