So I see alot of reviews that are on the negative side of this bottle. 1. Leaks, make sure all your parts are dry and put together properly and you can prevent leaks. 2. Too many peices. Worth a few extra items to wash in my opinion when you have a baby who constantly chokes with regular bottles. You could place the peices in a dishwasher basket for bottle parts if it is too time consuming and inconvenient. They are however easily washed by hand. I think these do help with choking however not much improvement on gas. Baby still complains of gas pain. So I'm not sure on that front if these might be helpful or not. Other than that. These bottles are great. They work well to prevent colic because the bubbles don’t go through the nipple thanks to the straw thing inside. The only thing I dislike is that they leak so much and it takes long to wash every part. Besides that though, I love these.

The blue insert is way better than the green one.. If you have a problem with it leaking, don't feel the bottle so much. Definitely one of the best bottles on the market. Your baby will have less tummy issues.

    • Great bottles but have realistic expectations
These bottles are great size for younger babies and also are compatible with madela pumps so you can pump directly into the bottles. The 5 pieces with each bottle makes cleaning a pain but these have made a significant difference with the amount of gas and spit up my baby has had. Also the nipple on the bottle having a “shoulder” or hump makes going back and forth between breastfeeding and bottle feeding easy and we haven’t had any nipple confusion like we did with our first kid when we used different bottles that supposedly had a more natural shape. As others have noted, these bottles are prone to leaking. We’ve found that if you push the vent system firmly into the nipple and collar and then put the whole piece into the bottle we have significantly less occurrences of leaking vs if we follow the instructions which indicate to put then venting system into the bottle and then screw the nipple and collar on. While not perfect, we went from having leaks every 1 in 3 bottles to now maybe every 1 in 25. I should note that we tried 6 other bottle brands and we have yet to find any bottle that never leaks. We ultimately went with these bottles once we figured out how to reduce the leaking because of the improvement in reflux in our baby, no nipple confusion, and being able to pump directly into these bottles. ... show more
